I awoke in a cold sweat, my vision blurred and unfocused in the dim light of my room. I heard footsteps coming down the hallway.

Autumn is a spunky ginger with a knack for transfiguration. She, alongside her sister Hermione, easily became close friends with the Weasley's- Autumn meeting the Twins first, and then Hermione meeting Ron two years later.
She never backs down from a challenge and is incredibly stubborn. Her personality is fairly cheerful by default, but pessimism is a thing she tends to struggle with.
Which is why it took her such a long time to come to terms with her 'special' ability:
She's an Animagus.
What's worse is she's not even completely sure how she came into possession of this 'curse' as she calls it. She's aware she's not actually related to the Granger's by blood, all she knows is that they took her in when her genuine parents weren't available. She knows that Lily Potter was technically her aunt, somehow. She knows that Harry is her cousin, er- something like that- but that's about it. Not much to trace back to, hm?
Autumn runs into the infamous Weasley Twins, Fred and George, on the Train in their First year. She had been sitting in a compartment by herself, tending to her owls when a poof of purple smoke came flying down the hallway outside. She began to get up to investigate when two tall gingers came flying into the compartment and slamming the door shut, throwing themselves under the seat across from her. After a few moments one of them asked "Is the coast clear?" and Autumn simply nodded, too dumbfounded to respond verbally. The two identical beanstalks (they were quite tall and skinny) climbed out from under the seats and reclined on them.
"Wicked" they had said in unison.
Autumn continued to talk with them the rest of the way, immediately fascinated by their hair- and their pranks, which they gladly obliged to explain to her. Even after introductions, it took her a good few months to be able to tell them apart, but by that time, one of them had taken a strong fancy to her, by the name of Fred.
