Yuta watched as Jihwa had a dull look in her eyes. They seemed empty almost. It hurt him so much to see her the way she was. It wasn't like the others were doing any better. Jaemin had gone into severe depression and Haechan had shut everyone off, even Jiayi, to the point they were having a "break".

Yuta could only stare at Jihwa, afraid to approach her sometimes. What if he triggered her? He didn't want to have a break with her. What if she needed him one night and he just wasn't there?

Despite everyone being in their own shells, everyone stayed at Yuta's house since it was still dangerous. It had been 2 weeks since the last attack by the Dark Knights. 

That was another worry that troubled Yuta. The Dark Knights were a discreet group to spot. It won't be easy taking them down. And he was afraid something would happen to the girl he had come to love. 

Jihwa: Yuta?

That brought Yuta out of his thought's as he looked over to the girl who sat at the other end of the couch. She got up, her blanket still wrapped around her. 

Jihwa walked over to him, cradling his lap before cuddling into him. His hands instinctively found themselves wrapped around her waist.

She pressed her ear to his chest, and he understood that she was listening to his heartbeat. Something she did it to snap out of terrible thoughts or an anxiety attack. His fingers naturally found their way to her hair, running them along her locks. 

Jihwa: I am sorry for the way i am behaving...

Yuta: Its okay baby. I am not complaining or blaming you for anything. 

Jihwa: What would i do without you?

She said in a soft tone. Though Yuta couldn't help but smile as he placed a kiss on her temple.

Jihwa: I think i am over it.

Yuta: Hm?

He said questioningly, not quite understanding her.

Jihwa: Jeno... he is in a better place now. We will all be fine as well. Everything will turn out fine. 

Yuta: You're right. Everything will be okay.

He said in his most soothing voice ever, hopefully calming the girl down further. 

Jihwa: Thank you for waiting for me.

Yuta: I would always wait for you. I promised to never leave, didn't I?

She sat up, looking at him through grateful eyes, before leaning forward and pressing a kiss on his lips. It was a soft and short kiss, that reassured them that they were fine.

Jihwa: I love you.

She breathed out. Yuta smiled, nuzzling their noses together.

Yuta: I love you too.
