Venti sighs as he floats around Sumeru. He wasn't very happy, with all that's been going on behind the scenes who would be?

"I want out." The bard thinks to himself as he wanders the grounds of Sumeru Akademiya. Don't get him wrong, he definitely didn't wish to give up his godly status as if he were to do that it would A, require faking his death and that was a lot of work and B if he were to do that he'd end up as a elemental being again which he did not want.

He quite enjoys his life in a humanoid body and he wasn't willing to change that for anything. "Maybe I'll read to get my mind off things." He smiles faintly as he walks through the halls of the prestigious school. He didn't usually enjoy reading but right now he could a distraction that wasn't drinking.

His smile grows as he walks into one of the largest libraries he's ever seen. He walks through the aisles before a book glows gently, catching his eye.

He gently picks it up, unsure if it was magic or not but based on the subtle glow he assumes it is. "A way out? Heh. Celestia must be playing a trick on me."

He rolls his eyes before taking the book over to a longe chair. He carefully sits down and opens the still glowing book. "If you seek a way out one you shall find. You'll need these things to make your quest divine." He laughs as he reads the riddle coded text.

"Blood of one you hold dear to draw these ancient runes, Six faded visions and finally trust. Trust us to free you from your life of captive desire."

Venti scoffs softly. "Yeah. Okay." He laughs. "Might as well try. It couldn't hurt. Worst comes to worst I'll just end up in Celestia." He gently closes the book, deciding to take it with him as he'd need it anyway.

"All of these things seem to be easy to gather. I'll ask Raiden for those visions as I'm sure she has them somewhere. Maybe Zhongli would be willing to give me some blood? I mean I do care about him." He sighs gently. The blood was definitely going to be a major problem. He'd need to ask someone he cares for but also knows how to keep a secret. Granted, he could always make Zhongli draw up a contract but he'd prefer to not do that.

His smile grows as large white wings sprout from his back. Once he's outside he quickly jumps up, taking to the skies.

His smile only grows as he flies over the beautiful lands below him. Of course he could've just used a way point but flying is so much more fun. He laughs as he flies directly through a cloud, the vapour tickling his face and wings.

He got so lost in the joyous feeling that he almost crashed into the Jade Chamber. He yelps as his flying comes to an abrupt hault when he almost flies into the a window of the chamber. He laughs as he gently sets his feet on the ground, smiling he carefully tucks his wings back in.

His signature goofy smile was plastered on his face as he walked through the entrance. He carefully looked around, no one paying him any mind. He huffs. "Ningguang!" He yells as he looks around.

"Venti?" Ningguang asks as she peeks her head out from around a corner. "This is a surprise. What can I do for you?"

Venti giggles. "Sorry! I uh was wondering if you knew where Zhongli was?"

Ningguang nods, pausing to think for a moment. "I believe he's spending the day with Hu Tao and Xiao."

Venti nods. "Thank madame!" He bows dramatically before summoning some winds and launching himself out of the chamber.

Ningguang laughs softly. "Oh Venti." She chuckles as she looks around her chamber, making sure there was no mess which there wasn't.

Venti huffs as he floats over Liyue Harbor, hoping to catch a glimpse of Zhongli. His grins wildly as he notices the tall man talking with Childe off in the distance. "Zhongli!!!!!" Venti shouts as he flies down, landing on the elders back. He hugs him tight. "Hey! I need your blood!"
