The coffee sits, cold on the cafe table. As I start to zone out further and further into space. Everyone is smiling and talking. I can't stand it. My heart aches as I watch the other people. "VIOLET YOU'RE GOING TO MISS YOUR FLIGHT IF YOU DONT LEAVE NOW!!" My mother yells from upstairs. I already have all my stuff.

"Bye mom I'm leaving now love you!" I yelled back to her. I went out to my tan 1964 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible; I throw my things in the back and pull the top down and start driving to the airport. With my hair blowing in the wind, I was playing the song "Life is a highway" I stopped at a red light before getting on the highway with the top down and music blasting this guy pulled up next to me and we started vibing together, so we exchanged numbers then I headed off to the airport. I boarded the plane and there my seat was "seat A30" I sat down and began my 12-hour flight. I had a few snacks and two meals; they were surprisingly good. I arrived in Italy at around 2:00 AM. I get off the plane and walk into town I wondered the streets of Italy without a clue or a worry in the world. I see a small cafe that has very few people in it. I walked in and chatted with the barista and got a coffee. I walked over to a small table by the window and sipped on my coffee.

"Are you here all by yourself?" A tall shadowy figure asked as he walked to my table.

"Yes I am." I said looking from the window to him. "Take a seat if you would like." I said with a warm welcoming tone and a smile. The tall shadow figure introduced himself as Matthew Calabresi. We talked for a few minutes.

"You can call me Matt if you want." He said with the cutest smile ever. He was sweet and welcoming. I couldn't help but wonder if he was seeing anyone. Snap out of it Violet. "I never got your name." Matt said as he looked at me and smiled.

"Oh sorry, my name is Violet Matthews." I smiled back at him.

"You have a very pretty name." He said in a sweet tone of voice. He was adorable. I got lost  looking into his deep brown eyes. I couldn't help it. "Violet? Are you ok?" He said as he looked at sort of passionately?

"Oh, yeah I'm fine just a bit tired." I said as i look down at my small cup and see i had already finished my coffee.

"Do you want another cup? My treat!" He offered me.

"No, I cant make you pay for a coffee for me." I declined.

"Oh come on, I insist!" He said while getting up.

"Ok, fine just a vanilla coffee." I said with a slight smile. He reached out his hand to help me up. I took his hand then we got in line.

"I'll have a chocolate milk, and for the beautiful girl a small vanilla coffee." He said nicely to the barista. He got a chocolate milk, that was cute. "Hey, uhm do you have a place to stay tonight?" He turned to look at me.

"No, actually. I didn't really plan ahead." I say with a nervous smile. Matt made it kind of obvious that he thought my nervous smile was cute. "Why? What are you proposing?"
