Chapter 6 - Day After

After a few kisses (First) left it at the door and for Sakura to clean up and head to bed. In a happy mood. A woman feeling truly appreciated and having decisions supported is truly remarkable. Seeing her Sensei give a vote of confidence on her date and the nurses wanting her to go for made her feel special again.

When she dressed for work and looked in the mirror, there was a wide smile. There was about to be an interesting day at the hospital. Patients aside. Her co-workers would want to know all the details. What she wore, if she dolled up a bit, and how he was in a public and private setting.

Stepping in the color in her face was more vibrant. She had more life in her. The way she walked and the energy Sakura carried. Her charm was greater. Everyone wanted to know what happened. Like everything in medical, news spread fast. The handsome and injured ninja left a date invitation and she went for it. Now for the follow up.

Nurse Heidi was right there with a grin on her face with a cup of coffee in her hand. "I'm waiting."

"We all are." Said another nurse.

"It, was, great. We hope to have another night together." Sakura smiled.

"Oh goodness gracious we're so happy. No way that man was fool's gold." Heidi went to hug Sakura. "So what happened?"

Sakura found herself in a big hug with the two nurses. "I washed up and put on a nice dress, we ate at one of my favorite places, bumped into some nice people, got to talk for a while, he walked me home, kissed him goodbye, and went to clean up and be ready to work today."

"So he's as advertised." Nurse Heidi nodded. "You can see right through that man. He's easy to figure out."

"You know, he does where his heart on his sleeve. He knows danger and is surroundings, but he's so nice it comes off naive like he's much younger. I can't lie, I'm less opposed than I was before." Sakura smiled. "You were right Heidi. He's special."

"How's he healing up?" Asked another nurse.

"We were running across the rooftops and he seemed fine. He promised me he was comfortable. (First) is going to fully recover quicker than I thought." Sakura looked around. "Time for work I guess."

In a training area (First) was going through some basic stretches. He brought a bag with him that had water, tea, and a lunch as he was still trying to get back to his old self. Still awkward in the rib cage area as expected, but he couldn't complain. He and his date last night jumped across the rooftops without issue. A little discomfort, yet he pulled through to kiss her goodbye as he went onward with his night.

As he sat down to meditate, there was unexpected company. He heard wheels and a pair of familiar chuckles.

"Ah Youth. How'd it go last night kid?" Said a voice.

(First) looked up. His Sensei Kuranai, Guy, Kakashi, and Mirai in her baby carriage resting on Guy's lap in his wheelchair. "Senseis?" Confused, standing up and bowing to greet them properly.

"How was your date kid?" Guy asked again with a wink and thumbs up.

"It went great." (First) looked at Kuranai. "So Sensei I kind of- well-"

She smiled. "I've been informed. Hope it works out."

"Really?" He gasped.

Kakashi nodded. "Sasuke has his own path. Now he isn't reckless as he used to be, not everyone can be part of that lifestyle per say. It's not for everyone. As you can see..." He winked and put his arm around Guy.

"Ohhh. I see." (First) acknowledged. "So how was Sakura before the date last night? Her and Sasuke went out for a while I take it?"

Kakashi nodded and walked closer to him. "Sasuke and Sakura go back since the academy. She had a crush on him I want to say since she was before twelve years old. As far as the actual relationship itself, it didn't last long. Every woman has different needs as you can imagine. And you make a good other."

"Good words Uncle Kakashi." Smirked Guy.

Kuranai smiled. "I'm glad you are well and happy that you found someone that compliments you. I was concerned with some others. Talking from a ninja, sometimes we only have basics. Where are others these days crave finer things."

(First) sighed. "No kidding."

"Ah youth." Guy looked into his lap to see Mirai looking up at him. "We may not have kids Kakashi, but we have students that practically call us Uncle."

"Can't argue there." Kakashi chuckled. "Any questions about Sakura? Or women in general?"

"Guy, my Sensei, and the guy that reads romance novels. Hmmm. I have to ask now. Give me a minute." (First) was on the spot now. Clearly this was a heads up.

"Smart boy." Smiled Kuranai. "Excellent date from what I heard too. You make a woman feel good."

"Well Sensei, thank you for that aspect. All women are the same in how you approach. Respect, never make them uncomfortable, and she has the same rights as I do. However, at the same time, some need more protection than me. Sound close?"

She giggled. "I'm glad I had three boys that are fine gentlemen."

"So, is she insecure?" He started off with a simple one.

"You seem to comfort her and eliminate that. Have that aspect come to you. Next?" Kakashi crossed his arms.

"Is there that pressure? You know where they or someone else has those high expectations?" (First) pondered.

"Hmmm. I think," Kuranai wanted to make this smooth but it couldn't be sugar coated. "It's hard not to compare yourself to others. Right now a lot of couples that she went to the ninja academy with are focused on, 'family related things' so to speak."

"Is that short for getting married and having kids, some of her friends trying for a child, and she thinks her time clock is ticking?"

"I can't speak for that. Granted I was 30 when I had my daughter. You two are in very early stages of knowing each other. But depending how fast this goes, you have to ask yourselves that question. And if one wants kids and one does not, I recommend letting go of the relationship to save you both time and suffering. Which also includes-" She gave a firm wink. Kuranai was not going to say it out loud.

"You do have others to help that as well." (First) took a step back and flinched.

"Hinata could kick your ass in her second trimester too I'm sure. I'll have her pay a visit some time soon. Anything else?"

"Just the first date. I'm unsure. Can we table this for now?"

"Yes of course. But as I said, the three of us and the only student of mine that can help you is Hinata. She knows Sakura very well too. Ninja academy days." Kuranai smiled and walked over to Guy and her daughter. "Seems to me she's enjoying her time."

"No pressure at all?" (First) asked.

"Pressure is only on you when it's self assured or passed on. It doesn't come from thin air." Replied Kakashi.

"More riddles? Great..."
