A/N: Hey, so um, one of my friends neahann is writing a Castiel fanfic and it's really good and really adorable, so if you're into fluffy Cas fics, you should check it out. :)

-Flashback-

"Dean," you whine.

"What's wrong, babe?" Dean asks kindly, walking through the door with his younger brother, Sam. He slips his leather jaket off.

You get up and hug him, taking his jacket from him and putting it on yourself. It was still warm.

"Hey, Sam," you say, smiling politely.

You hadn't talked much to Sam, he was always quiet around you. You always smiled and said hi to him every time you saw him and he said it back.

"Hey," he says, putting his head down slightly, looking at his shoes. [I LOST MY SHOE]

"Night, Sammy," Dean says, walking back to the room the two of you share.

"Night, Dean," he mumbles.

"Night," you say.

"Night," he responds.

It was about 3:00 in the morning, they had just gotten back from a hunt. You weren't sure what you were hunting, but you knew they had to leave as soon as they found out what it was.

"Now," he starts, covering you up with a warm blanket, "What's wrong?"

"I fell asleep and had a bad dream when you were gone..." you say.

"Go back to sleep," he starts, "I'm here now."

"Will you sing me that song again?" You ask.

"Hey Jude, don't make it bad
Take a sad song and make it better
Remember to let her into your heart
Then you can start to make it better

Hey Jude, don't be afraid
You were made to go out and get her
The minute you let her under your skin
Then you begin to make it better

And anytime you feel the pain, hey Jude, refrain
Don't carry the world upon your shoulders
For well you know that it's a fool who plays it cool
By making his world a little colder
Nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah

Hey Jude, don't let me down
You have found her, now go and get her
Remember to let her into your heart
Then you can start to make it better..." he looks over at your sleeping body and smiles.

-end of flashback-

"Y/N," Dean manages to get out in between coughing fits and spitting out blood.

"What?" You ask, "What is it? What can I do?" You ask.

"Did... Y- You call... Sam...?" He asks.

"Yeah, yeah. He's in his way as fast as he can..." you say.

"Tell him... To hurry his... Kid-ass... up... I- I'm dyin' over... here..." he says, chuckling slightly.

"No, Dean. No, you're not dying... You- You can't die on me..." you say, practically in tears.

"Y/N... Will you... S- Sing me the song...?" He asks.

You nod a little and clear your throat. "Hey Jude, don't make it bad
Take a sad song and make it better
Remember to let her into your heart
Then you can start to make it better

Hey Jude, don't be afraid
You were made to go out and get her
The minute you let her under your skin
Then you begin to make it better

And anytime you feel the pain, hey Jude, refrain
Don't carry the world upon your shoulders
For well you know that it's a fool who plays it cool
By making his world a little colder
Nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah..."

You look down at his blank, unblinking eyes.

You begin to cry over his cold, lifeless body, but you turn around when you hear footsteps approaching. A tall man with long hair.

"Sam..." you sob. "He's gone... He- He's gone..." you say, collapsing on his now sitting body.

"I was too late...?" He says, almost in tears himself.

You were left unable to answer, sitting and crying on Sam, with Dean's body lying next to you.

In a way, it was almost comforting.
