cws; small descriptions of a rotting body

Diane was starting to get even more pissed off that her plans haven't worked. These people were supposed to be dead ages ago. But they weren't smart like her. She was always one step ahead.

Do you remember the fruit they were supposed to eat? Even if only one person died from it, the rest who ate theirs were under her control already. Like little pawns on her personal chessboard.  All she needed to know was who was still alive.

The sound of a small microphone being stepped on drowned her ears. That could only mean one thing. Her traitor had fallen. Amount of rage she was feeling in that moment couldn't go unmatched. As she stood up, she clenched the outer rim of her fruit decorated throne. It was time to bring out the big guns.

Diane got up and went behind the chair, pulling on a small lever. On command, the throne shot up and a small room with test tubes came into view. You see, after one is eliminated, the guards usher the people back to their containment room so the body can be stored in here.

Only three out of the planned nine were in there though. The familiar corpse of Elliot was shown, burns all throughout his body from the lava banana smoothie as Diane would call it. As she strutted through the room, Mason's body was also seen.

His fatigue wasn't as bad as Elliot's but there was almost endless kiwi juice dripping from his mouth. It had only been a few days since his death and the tank was almost half full. Good thing that wouldn't be a problem soon.

Finally, a bigger tube than the others came into frame. It held Marie in it. She was wearing a long silver dress with a small bob haircut, which was also silver. Everything about her had been decomposing. Diane looked at her like a prized possession. The only real reason the woman agreed to go on with the plan was to help her kid.

Diane wasn't the best mom growing up so anything that would put a smile on her kids face was exactly what she did. In fact, Diane didn't even think twice. There was a huge difference between Elliot and Mason and Marie. Mason and Elliot were both dead, their souls being held here to the point of no return. Although Marie was very much alive.

After admiring her captives a little longer, Diane walked over and stood in-front of a button. Her hand hovered over it as she scanned her nails on the wall. If she were to press this button, everyone would be done for.

Adam sat down in his little hiding spot relaxed. Finally he was at peace. Until the familiar voice from earlier said his name again. There was something about that guy he didn't like. He couldn't trust a single thing he said. It all sounded fake to him. When he was around Adam felt him get eery inside.

He felt sick. A dizziness took over him. Suddenly he was not in control of his own body, but he could see how it was functioning. Usually when he's under Diane's control he'd be stuck in a little black box inside of his head until she's had her fun.

Whoever was controlling Adam made him walk up to the blackberry boy. He seemed surprised but introduced himself actually. "Huh- Oh there you are! I never actually got to tell you my name! It's Trevor!" Trevor stuck out his hand for Adam to shake.

Instead of shaking the mans hand like a normal person, "Adam" put a strange substance on his hand while the other is looking away. "It's nice to meet you too." He said, shaking Trevor's hand.

Blackberry sudden had an odd feeling erupt in him, causing everything inside him to suddenly crash, making him fall to the floor unconscious. Adam let out a small gasp as whoever controlling him started dragging him towards a familiar throne room.

Vik stormed away from the door angrily. Vio and Cassidy ran after him, begging for answers. "What was that for Vikky?" Cassidy asked. Vik froze completely in place, staring at the girl completely in the eyes. "Please don't call me that." Vik spoke blankly. Cassidy's expression faltered a little bit. "Oh, I'm sorry." She reached out to give Vik a hug and he let her.

Vio watched the two kids with a small smile on his face. They were so young, they didn't deserve any of this. All of the sappiness evaporated as loud footsteps filled the air. When the group looked in the direction it was coming from, they saw the blueberry guy from earlier carrying something.

"Wait.." Or maybe even someone? "That's Trevor!" Vik suddenly yelled. "Huh?" Both Vio and Cassidy said at the same time. "The blackberry! The emo goth kid?!" They were running out of time. "That kid! He was really close with Dave!" Vio was connecting the dots finally. Vik let out a sigh of relief.

Cassidy's face went slanted at the mention of Dave. "Oh right. Dave." Vik and Vio looked at each other and hugged Cassidy. "I just-don't understand why he would do that!" She sobbed out. "He knew I looked up to him! He knew!" She was getting angry. "He needs to pay for what he did."

Dave sat in the room awkwardly. Why did he have to admit in a room with a corpse in it?! God it smelled horrible. He decided to stand up with the help of the wall. His microphone, aka the only way he can contact anyone, was now broken along with his favorite pair of glasses.

The man tried not to think about it. He couldn't handle crying, especially not in the position he's in. A strange painting on the wall caught his attention. It had a white lady on it that had long blonde hair and next to her was a black lady with butterfly locs in. They were holding each other closely and almost caressing each other.

Dave noticed how loose the painting looked and tried to take it off the wall. To his surprise it actually worked. A pathway that looked carved in by hand was revealed. At the end a small treasure chest that was opened came into his view. He climbed into the hole and crawled to the chest.

It felt a little humiliating for him to do this anf he was hoping there were no secret cameras that are on right now. The small chest had a little note in it. It said, "the prize has been with you all along". The way it was written scared him a bit but he really couldn't stand another second of being in here.

Dave sat in there and just thought. After a while he came up with a few ideas. He climbed put of the small tunnel and starting feeling all around himself. What if the key was in one of his pockets? After what felt like ages, he concluded they were not there.

Wait a minute. With him all along? What's something he keeps with him anywhere? His glasses! He nearly fell to the floor in anticipation, picking up the broken bits of the glasses. For once looking at such a prized possession hadn't made him a single bit sad.

Shaking everything out, a small key came out of the inner ringing of the sunglasses. Slipping it through, immediately being met with someone wailing. Dave recognized the person. It was Cassidy. She was crying.. about him. Because of him.

In no way he would've ever thought of even muttering those words. The very thought of someone he held so dear feeling like that made him want to wail. He couldn't though. Covering his ears, he was able to slip past the three stealthily.

Vik pulled away from the hug to fix his hair a bit. He looked around for a place he could use as a mirror when his heart sank. He stared right at it and vigorously tapped Vio on his shoulder. When he wasn't responding he tapped harder. "What?!" Pastor Vio spoke.

Vik only stared right at it, shaking a little bit. "Hello?!" Vio yelled. Finally he turned around and saw it. "Dave.." "Escaped." Vik finished his sentence with the same urgency. Vio grabbed Cassidy's right arm while Vik grabbed her left and they ran. They needed to find somewhere to hide. They were the last left.
