Chapter 3

Carter's POV recap

I never answered him as i pick Tristan up and went to the front door. What I saw at the front door was something i so horrible that i almost dropped Tristan. I did the only thing i could do, scream.

I screamed with all my heart and soul. My mom,laying on the flooring drenched in blood, with slashes all over her body.

"Mommy?? Cart what's wrong with mommy?" Oh my god Tristan.

"Tristan, go to our neighbors house and stay there till I come get you.okay?" That the only thing I could say to him

"Okay" he's so cute and innocent I just don't know how to talk to him about this

After he left, I crawl over to my mom, checking for a pulse.

"Mom? Mom? Hold on mom I'm gonna get you help!"i quickly took out my phone and dialed 911

"911 what's your emergency"

"Help it's my mom! She's bleeding! She has a weak pulse HELP! Please" i can't believe this happened to my mom.

"Okay help is on it's way what is your address?"

"7620 river way please hurry."suddenly I feel a hand on my shoulder.

"Get away from me!" I yell without even looking at who it was. I hate peoples seeing me vulnerable!

"Carter come here please." I slowly crawled over to... Nik oh ya i forgot Nik was also my other neighbor.

"Nik." I say through tears. "Did Tristan get to your place okay?"
"Tristan never came over. Was he suppose to?" What oh my god.

"I told Tristan to go to our neighbors house and stay there. What if..what if he got to Tristan what if... Oh god! He just a little boy!" God i can feel my life falling apart right now.

"Shh shh shh maybe he just went to the other house and not to my house" Nik said trying to calm me down

"NIK DO YOU KNOW WHO LIVES IN THE OTHER HOUSE?! LOGAN FIELD, WHO IS IN A GANG FYI!!!"

Logan's POV

" No problem neighbor" ha her face is like 'fuck' funny really

When I get into my driveway i quickly hop out and lock the car doors and than say a quick 'hello' to my mom. But when I'm climbing up the stairs to my music room i hear a horrible scream. I quickly run down the stairs and find my mom just get to the door.

"What was that?" My mom asked

"I don't know I'll go see." I reply as i grab the gun we keep by the door, for safety.

As i open the door i see a small boy about 5-7 that looks familiar, CARTERS BROTHER. Umm i think Tristan

" Hi my name is Tristan and im this many" he said holding up 5 fingers, smart kid "and my big sissy, Carter told me to come here because something happened to my mommy." He finished

"Hi Tristan im Logan and im this many" showing 10 fingers and than flashing them to 8 (Do yall get that) "and my mommy will watch you so that I can make sure your mommy is okay." I say as i quickly motion for my mom to come over.

"Hey mom watch Tristan please i need to go check what happened." Than i rush over to Carters house.

I dont know what was worse seeing seeing Carter and Nik cuddling or most likely Carter's mom laying on the floor drenched in her own blood. What was defiantly the worsted part was the markings on Carter's mom meant that another Mafia group did this and I think i know which one too.

Hey im sorry i haven't been updating in a while but I've been feeling really bad. Like its been hard for me to breathe really i have asthma and so i use my inhaler but lately it hasn't been helping so ive just been sleeping and laying down not doing much. Like just typing gets me out of breathe if that makes sense probably doesn't but ya
