Ashley's pov:

I woke up today, actually on time and not feeling to bad for once, but my good mood was almost imediatly ruined when I looked around my crappy and messy room and I remembered liking Nikki's post.

I put on an extremely baggy plain grey t-shirt and some dark blue jeans with several patches on it. Then I walked to the bathroom and quickly washed my face.

I didn't even call out for my mom, because I knew she wouldn't be there. I ate the cold soup and then walked towards the bus stop. The bus was super full, but luckily there was one spot left to sit. I sat down, but then I noticed. I was sitting next to Nikki!

I was so freaking out, I looked at her.

Shit, why did I look at her?

Then I quickly looked away, hoping she hadn't seen me stare.

'Hi! I'm Nikki, you've probably already heard of me, or not i guess?'

Oh my god, the Nikki Alleney was speaking, to a loser like me?! What am I supposed to say? And why was she stuttering? I better answer otherwise she might think I'm ignoring her.

'Oh uhm, hi, I didn't notice I was sitting to next to a famous celeberty,'

Fuck, that was stupid now she's going to think I hate her!

'I'm sorry, I didn't mean to sound so self-indulging, what is your name anyways?'

'Apology accepted, I'm Ashley, Ashley Whitestone!'

Apology accepted? That sounded way too formal!

'So are we in any of the same classes?'

Yes, spanish! No, I shouldn't say that, then she knows that I am way to invested in her, I should say something more along the lines of:

'Lets compare our scedules, I guess?'

'Yeah, good idea! Oh yesterday we had spanish together! I don't think I saw you there?

'I wasn't there, missed the bus,'

'Ah, too bad,'

Then I went back to listening to my music, on a softer volume, because the one thing I didn't need was my crush thinking I was even more of a freak then she probably already does.

When I arrived at school I sat through my all to boring math and literature class until it was time for break.

Nikki's pov:

I woke up today in the worst mood, tired and traumatised from yesterday. I put on a long jeanfabric skirt and a white shirt with a droopy smiley face, that's kind of how I felt, putting on a smile, but melting on the inside.

I heard charles knocking on my door, I realy couldn't deal with him right now, so I opened the door and ran downstairs before he got the chance to say anything.

I grabbed some cereal and poured it in the bowl, then I added my milk. I wasn't hungry at all so I practically had to force the cereal down my throat.

Then I walked towards the bus station and waited until the ugly yellow school bus arrived.

There was 1 seat where both seats were empthy so I sat there, because I didn't want to sit next to anybody, but then 2 stops later the ht skater girl walks in, wearing super cool pants. I had to try really hard not to stare. But then I noticed it, she was walking towards me, coming closer and closer until she sat next to me.

Was she looking at me?

i looked, but saw her quickly looking away.

Shit, that was so stupid to say! She is going to think I'm so full of myself, like the other popular girls are.

Fuck, this conversation is not going as smoothly as I hoped..

Self-indulging? What even is that word? I probably sound like such a nerd rn!

So that's her name! Ashley? That sounds kind of like that @Ashes4you that liked my post, maybe that was her? Probably not..

Then Ashley put her headphones back on, so I started scrolling on instagram a bit, which I actually hated, seeing that all those popular kids are really perfect..

At school I went straight to chemistry and then to geography, both of which are starting to lose their fun.

Then it was time for break again.
