Dilemma

"Miko-chan! You're home early today, aren't you?", the tall blonde who was standing in the kitchen preparing lunch greeted me. "Yeah, one of my professors got ill, so my last lecture was cancelled.", I answered while taking off my shoes and jacket. "Oh, lucky for you.", he smiled at me bright as I walked into the kitchen. The food smelled delicious already. "And for me. I actually thought I wouldn't be able to see you today anymore.", he added with a wink. "Now I can eat together with you today, Miko-chan. It must be my lucky day today.", his smile got even brighter even though I didn't know how that was even possible. I giggled a bit. "When do you have to go to your part time job today?", I asked now standing next to him, looking curious what food he was making. "Mhhh", he looked at the clock. "In about an hour already. It's a shame, I want to spend more time with you, Miko-chan", he looked back at me, now rather sad. His puppy eyes killed me every time.
In these moments I just wanted to pet and hug him, but I normally restrained myself. I didn't know why I didn't today though. It just came over me as I saw his disappointed eyes looking at me like that. I just wrapped my arms around his waist, hugging him from the left side, where I was standing next to him. I could literally feel his whole body tense at my sudden move. "Well, one hour is still better than no time at all, right?", I told him to cheer him up a bit and let go of him again. I didn't give him any time to hug me back though. As I looked into his face again, I saw his face burning red while he was looking at me like a deer in head lights. "Y-yeah, I guess you are right" he answered flustered while averting his eyes. God damnit, he needs to stop being this cute, I thought and turned to sit down at the dinner table.
"W-wait, Miko-chan", I stopped as he grabbed my arm to hold me back. "Hmm?", I turned around to face him. "Uhm", he started and seemed to be even more flustered now. Fuck, did he hate it? Did I go too far? It was just a hug, it's not that bad, is it? "Actually, I wanted to do this for quite a while now, Miko-chan. Please don't hate me for it, okay?", he said, again making these god damn puppy eyes. "Why would I...", I wanted to respond, but was interrupted with his lips now pressing on mine. My eyes widened in surprise, but only for a mere moment before I started to melt into his kiss without thinking. His lips were soft and gentle, but I could still feel the passion and love he put into the kiss. It felt incredible. He held his hands on either side of my face, pulling me even closer into the kiss as I started to wrap my arms around his waist. My mind got a little dizzy as a tingling sensation ran through my body. It had been quite some time since I had been kissed this passionately. When his lips moved gently on mine, it felt as if time stood still. His warm body so close to mine, his gentle hands on my cheeks, and my heart beating faster and faster were the only things I could think of at that moment. If it had been up to me, this moment could have lasted forever. As soon as his lips detached from mine, I already missed them and yet it had certainly only been a few seconds.

Sanji's lips formed a slight smile while his blue eyes looked directly into mine, "Was...was that okay?" As he looked at me with a slightly uncertain look, I couldn't help but smile, "More than okay..." Now he had to start laughing too. "You wouldn't believe how long I've wanted to do this," he took my hands in his and squeezed them slightly. "I'll cook even better for you from now on, Y/N," he added with a sly smile. I had to laugh at the comment, "How is that going to work? You already cook so well that I find any other food awful by now." I could see him literally floating in seventh heaven at that compliment. "Oh...really?", his face turned slightly red. "Yes, really Sanji," I smirked, but really meant it. His dishes were out of this world, and I wondered every time how he conjured up such elaborate things in such a short time. "But I think the eggs are boiling over right now," I added as I saw the water spill out of the pot. "Oh shit, I totally forgot about those," he panicked as he yanked the pot off the stove. "Damn, they must be boiled hard by now. I'll make you some new ones real quick, Y/N. Zoro can eat these later," he added with an apologetic look in my direction. "Oh nonsense, I can eat them too. I don't mind," I replied in an attempt to dissuade him from cooking new eggs. I knew Sanji hated wasting food more than anything, and he certainly wouldn't put the failed eggs in front of Zoro. The swordsman was too important to him, even if he would never admit it.
