Synopsis: Caroline and Klaus find out about the cure and want to destroy it. Klaus is spelled into the Gilbert living room.

"Would you take the cure?" he asked her. "You wouldn't, would you? You like being strong, ageless, fearless. That's why we're the same Caroline. You and I are the same," he smiled.

"You're wrong, I'm nothing like you" she defended.

"Believe what you will, but I know the truth. You prefer who you are now compared to the girl you once were," he smirked.

She hesitated for a second, hating that he was right.

"If you believe that we're so similar, then show me," she said. "Help me stop them from finding the cure."

"What's in it for me? Your friends murdered my brother," he made a good point there.

"If Silas was buried with the cure, that means that they might have to wake him in order to get it. There's no way it'd be THAT easy to get the cure. And I don't want that to happen. I mean, a 2000-year-old immortal witch? Walking on Earth again? That would be chaos! And no one can stop him, not even you. That's what's in it for you. He's stronger than your mother was. So, he could find a way to kill you without the white oak stake. Is that enough motive?

Klaus was hesitant to answer, but he knew she was right. Silas was a lot older than him. And the cure? The one thing that could weaken Klaus, returning him to his original werewolf state, meaning he could be killed easily.

"Listen, I am really sorry about Kol. " Klaus turned to look at her. "Know that I had no part in this. But even your brother knew how powerful Silas was, he was scared too," she reasoned.

Klaus held her gaze for a few seconds before looking at the floor, taking a few moments to think.

"Fine," he said. "Let's work together to stop this. First, I need to get out of this house."
