Ok so this one gets complicated sorry Kenjorine/Bunny is my favorite ship so a bit of thought went into it.
(Btw in this Marj is gender-fluid and goes by both Butters and Marjorine, and I'll also be using she/they while talking about him just so it's not as confusing with Kenny)
So Butters has basically always liked Kenny but didn't know if he would like her male body so they never told him. To try and get their mind off Kenny they've been going to clubs and shit all that stereotypical doodoo 😭 Then Kenny gets drunk yaya you know Marj was happy she finally got Kenny's "love" so was happy to be with him but was so heartbroken when he didn't know/try to know their name and she felt like she was only a one night stand. Butters then started to try and get his attention as Butters, not all dressed up as Marj, i.e the significance of "Call Out My Name"
