Teruko sat on the couch, scrolling through her social media feed, feeling bored. "When was the last time something interesting happened?" she asked out loud. The others in the room looked over at her, trying to think of something exciting that had happened recently.
"Was it when Veronika explained the fnaf lore?" Whit suggested, grinning at the memory. They all turned to look at Veronika, who was laying on the floor, singing Drift Away from Steven Universe in her sleep, completely unaware of the conversation.
Xander couldn't help but feel a little jealous watching Whit and Charles making out.He pointed to them and said, "Why can't this be us Davidd?" David turned to Xander, looking like a tomato, unsure of what to say.
Just then, Teruko accidentally cut open Xander's table with a pair of scissors,David then exclaiming "OH COME ON!" He looked around at the chaos unfolding around him and knew they needed to get out of the house for a bit.
Xander dragged David to the mall while Arei laughed at the situation and said "LMAO BITCH AGAIN??". They spent the afternoon wandering through the stores, window shopping and enjoying each other's company. Even though the day hadn't gone as planned, they still managed to have a good time together.
As they walked back to Xander's house, David turned to him and said, "You know, I still don't have an answer for your earlier question, but I do know that being here with you all is interesting enough for me." Xander smiled, feeling grateful for his friends and the adventures they shared.
They all settled back into the house, ready to continue their fun-filled day, grateful for each other's company and the moments that made life interesting.
