sorry if this confuses you, I'm skipping in time to season two. To explain a little better Bonnie gave the cat to Caroline while she's in the hospital. Before Kathrine kills Caroline.
Bonnie takes me to the hospital with her and we hear the news. Tyler got a migraine and wrecked the car and Caroline got hurt, to remedy this situation Bonnie gave me to Caroline to cuddle.
So, there we were laying in a hospital bed asleep when I hear footsteps, I wake up slightly alert when I see Kathrine. Swaying her hips back and forth as she walks, heels clicking against the floor. 'I forgot about this part' I try really hard to wake Caroline without hurting her with my claws, scared Kathrine might just kill me as well as her footsteps get closer. Right as she's at the door I scrambled out of the bed hopping on to the floor and hiding underneath the hospital bed. The door opens and I hear Caroline jolt out of her sleep "Elena, what are you doing here." she called.
"My name is Kathrine. I was hoping you could give the Salvatore brothers a message for me." "Game on" There's a moment of silence. then I hear Caroline "wha-" and choking sounds. I gather up my courage and race around the bed and attack Kathrine; she looked surprised as I scratch a large gash in her leg that doesn't heal automatically. She hisses at me with her vampire face and kicks me to the wall. as I'm losing conciseness, I hear Caroline crying and then a muffled sound, then all I saw was black.
As I wake up, my muscles tense as I stretch the biggest stretch I've ever had. I look around and spot Caroline sleeping, 'was it all a dream. I hope so.' I walk around on the floor to work my sore muscles, then jump onto the hospital bed. I walk on Caroline chest, and she looks so peaceful sleeping when I realize she has no heartbeat. I start internally freaking out as I lay on her stomach waiting for her to get up hoping she's not dead for real. Then it hits me she's becoming a vampire 'why didn't I remember. I must be losing my memories of my previous world.'
While I'm freaking out Caroline gasps awake, and I hear my name "Ally" Caroline said in a soft but gentle voice. I look back at her praying to calm down. She gets up and shoos me off the bed, as she walks to the door, opens it and then closes it behind her. I'm still a nervous wreck from what just happened I hope everything will turn out okay. A few minutes later the door opens, and Caroline is shoved back into my view as the nurse behind her shut the door and walks off. Caroline stays like that for a few minutes waiting to see if the nurse comes back.
She doesn't so she sits down on the hospital bed next to me and pulls a blood bag out of her robe. I start nosing her hoping she finds comfort because this must be confusing and scary for her not even realizing she died or is a vampire. She notices me and starts rubbing my head, slowly bringing the bag up to her lips. After the first sip she gags and throws the bag, I jump out of her hold, as she gets out of the bed and goes to the floor drinking as much as she can.
Awhile later she gets back in the bed and holds me close hugging me when I hear her thoughts.
'Why is this happening? who is Kathrine? why am I so thirsty?'
As her thoughts slowly wind down, I hear snoring. I look back and watch the room while protecting Caroline.
Morning comes and matt my favorite human, comes waltzing in while Caroline is still asleep "hey ally how you are doing? How's my favorite little kitty." I meow at him. hoping he gets that I'm okay for now, As I play with matt.
Caroline wakes up rubbing her eyes and Matt notices, so he stops playing with me to talk to Caroline. I get a little jealous, so I start moving around; to stop me Caroline starts petting my fur to get me to relax. All of the sudden I'm alone on the bed I look around to see Caroline, she must have vamp sped then I see matt he has the curtains open.
'Ah that explains it.'
Matt looks at Caroline confused so he starts questioning her "what's wrong with you?" she speaks softly "please close it Matt." then raises her voice "close it!" the room goes dark again, and he says "I'll just come back later. okay?' then Caroline starts having a panic attack. I jump of the bed again wincing from my sore muscles and start rubbing and purring all over her. She picks me up cuddling me like her last lifeline.
