Evergreen (A BTS/Self Insert AU Fanfic)

~The Prophecy~

(This chapter happens some time ago before the story actually begins)

Narrator POV:

In a cave, far from prying eyes. Two figures stand on opposite ends.

One of the figures starts to speak in an authoratative tone.

??? : Dearest Seer, What is the fate of my future?

He slowly walks towards the other figure who seems to have a mystical crystal who answers.

??? : What you request is my command.

Their eyes glow as they recite an incantation.

??? : Oh powerful crystal, What my Lord wishes to see, Is what his future fate will be.

The crystal responds with it's own glow revealing the answer.

??? : Tell me Seer, What do you see?

??? : I see..... A child, One that will grow stronger with each passing year. They will rally even nations that have bitter relations to defeat a common enemy, to cause your downfall and your demise.

After the Seer is done with their prediction, their eyes stop glowing.

??? : That is what my fate will be then......

??? : Yes My Lord, as the crystal is never wrong in it's power of knowledge of the future even if it cannot specify the exact details, it will happen without fail.
What do you plan to do with this information, if I may ask My Lord?.

The figure eerily smiles with a very dark look in his eyes.

??? : I will find this prophesied child and destroy any weeds that will grow to be a thorn at my side so as to finally remold the world into my own image.

The figure turns to leave but as they were walking away, suddenly.....

??? : UURK, WILL YOU SHUT UP WITH YOUR INSISTENT NAGGING? YOU CAN'T STOP ME AND ANYONE WHO DARES WILL NEVER LIVE TO SEE THE LIGHT OF TOMORROW!!! THIS I PROMISE, I SHALL FINALLY BE THE ONE TO TEACH THOSE INSIGNIFICANT INSECTS THEY WILL REAP WHAT THEY HAVE SOWN.

The Seer who looks at Lord in concern lightly taps their shoulder.

??? : DON'T TOUCH ME!

The Seer visibly flinches and apologizes.

??? : My Lord, forgive me but are you alright? You look like you had just seen a ghost.

After the Seer asks this, The Lord gains his composure and calmly responds.

??? : I'm fine just fatigued is all, Must have not gotten rest these days.....I shall take my leave and return to the Castle.
We shall meet again if I have any further doubts about my future.

The figure finally leaves the cave to head to their Castle while the Seer still lingers.

??? : I had heard that My Lord was feeling unwell lately, Certainly did not expect hallucinations and sudden outbursts of rage to occur. He should see a healer to cure what's ailing him. Until next time, My Lord I shall be waiting for you to return to seek my aid.

The Seer has predicted that a child will one day defeat this mysterious Lord and bring his reign of terror to an End.
