Madeline sat in the gallery as she sat watching Meredith in heart surgery as nova sat next to her and smiled

"you okay you were gone early" nova said as Madeline smiled

"yeah I had to be somewhere. I had an appointment" Adeline said

"Is everything okay" nova asked her best friend

"I wish I could hold a heart" George said

"A monkey could hold a heart" cristina said

"yeah where's alex when you need him" Madeline said. She took a sip of her water and groaned. She was struggling with the internship and moving from New York and the fact mark Sloan was still in her mind

"You're mad Burke didn't ask you" George said to Cristina

"George, I need more ice and chips" Izzie said

"Who else did you invite?" Georgie asked

"Izzie, we said the list was jocks only. Surgery, Trauma, Plastics. Who else?" Cristina said

"Just some people from Peds."

"You invited the preschoolers to Meredith's house. The next thing you'll say is you invited the shrinks" cristina said as Izzie looks away

"She invited mental defects. This party's D.O.A" nova said

"You know, Meredith thinks this is just going to be a little, small, meet-your-boyfriend cocktail thing. Did you clear this with her?" George asked

Madeline looked to her and glared, she knew izzie didn't respect her and it annoyed her. She knew it was as much her house as Meredith's

"No, but I will" izzie said George and Cristina give her a look

"I promise" Izzie said as nova shot her a glared

"Why are you wasting the only weekend your boyfriend is in town on a big party? Is he bad in bed?" Cristina asked

"must be" nova said

"No. I just want him to meet some of my friends" Izzie said as Madeline scoffed. She was too tired to deal with her

"Right. Sixty geeks in scrubs are your friends" cristina said as Her beeper goes off. She gets up to leave

"Bad sex, sucks for you" nova said

"I heard there was a party tonight at Meredith's house" alex said as he walked in

"Oh really, party?" Nova asked

"Uh, news to me" Izzie said "No party" George said

"Are we losing her or what?" Alex asked as he looked to the patient on the table

"I heard Meredith had her first shot of heart surgery as you jealous" he asked as he looked to her sister
