The smell of booze fills my nose as I push through the crowd.Music bursting my ear drums making it hard to hear anything Liv is telling me,so I just nod and follow her.

My eyes wonder around making me not realise that Liv has stopped walking,causing me to be walk straight into her. "You look great,stop overthinking it."my eyes drop down at the outfit she made me wear.

I open my mouth to say something but she stops me. "Do t even try to say anything different." I close my mouth knowing there is no way I am winning an argument against Liv. I learnt that a long time ago.But yet again most of the time I will still try but am always defeated.

"Fine," I roll me eyes as she gives me a big grin.

"Finally,now let's go clear your head and get you pissed drunk."she grabs my hand and continues pulling me into the crowd of people.Even though I hate being here, I don't even attempt to get out of here.

She suddenly stops walking and pulls me beside her before pouring a load of drinks into a cup.

"Drink,this will make you feel better." I can't help but laugh and think how lucky I am to have a friend like her.

"So what's next?Shot of vodka," she winks at me before grabbing a bottle and taking a shot.This girl really doesn't think about anything but having a good time.

I bit my lip deciding on whether I should take a shot, but before I can decide I can head a familiar voice making us both turn around.

"You're here!"a familiar voice rings yells.

"Char."Liv and I yell at the same time opening our arms for a group hug.Charlotte's giggles as she comes in contact with us.

"What took you guys so long? I have had to hang out with your brother and his friends for the past hour.Not that it's a bad thing. I mean,come on.Look at them, they are like Greek gods."did she say liv's brother?

My eyes lock with head covered in brown fluffy hair.My stomach drops.He turns around and even though there is a high risk of us locking eyes, I can't seem to look away. It's like there is a spell on me.As soon as I see his face and my body relaxes. It's not him.

Thank god,it's not him.

I pick up one of my cups,bring it up to my lips and gulp it down.My face scrunches as the vodka burns my throat.When my cup is empty, I hold it out for Liv to take. Then, I shake my head to distract himself.

"Can you make me another drink?maybe with a mixer this time," I ask her.

"Are you good?"charlotte asks with a concerned look on her face.

"They fired her and she thinks the world is over,"Liv answers for me.

Yeah,right.That's the reason why I am sweating like crazy.Not Because I almost had a heart attack. I'm absolutely fine.

As my roommate makes me another drink,she fills Charlotte in on all the gossip that has happened in the day.

"Oh,honey. They are shitheads for firing you. I have to tutor tomorrow but as soon as I'm done, I'll help you look for a new and better job.And I can guarantee you, you will have a job in a matter of seconds."she looks me dead at the eye. "You hear me?" I nod and she grabs me into a hug.Charlotte love giving people hugs and making them feel loved. "We won't let Long Island slip away,okay?" She whispers.

Long Island.That was the plan.After I get my degree at harmony university, I want to get into doctor noah Williams intern program.However,the price that comes with this plan is quite expensive.Unless I really work my ass of for it.Over the past couple of years I have been saving some money from working at the candy store. I followed the plan.Everything was calculated perfectly,but that was ruined when I got fired.

"Here you go."she hands me another drink and some sort of shot.

"What is it?"

"Every time I catch you having a little pity party over getting fired I'm giving you a shot." I roll my eyes but throw back the shot anyway. I squeeze my eyes shut and try to get rid of the taste.

"You are just evil," I wheeze.

"I want you to be positive and have a little faith.Your getting a new job,I'll make sure of that.Don't worry." If Liv sets her mind on something, she doesn't stop till she gets it. I love her determination.

"I don't have a doubt in the world." I say.Her eyes widen and her grins widens.

"I fucking love this song!"she grabs my hand,dragging me out to the dance floor and I grab Charlottes arm doing the same.

"If you don't want to do the shot I'll switch them with water."she say's giving a small smile and she winks. "I have your back girl."
