How could you tell me that I'm great
When they chewed me up, spit me out, pissed on me?
Why would you tell me that it's fate
When they laughed at me, every day, in my face?

The Neighborhood - How

After the two gangs had made arrangements to keep the neighborhood safe together, from any other rival gang, Mordecai and Drew both left the hideout. Serafine seems retreated to their hideout. Drew leaned against the wall and Mordecai was near him. He said to Mordecai.
"So, what you want to discuss with me next, Mordecai?"

Mordecai thought about what to say for a moment, before he sighed, and scratched the back of his head a little.
"Well... We've got pretty much an open field here in the west side. So, the potential for growth here is pretty big!"

Small grin appeared on Drew face and said.
"Yes... And what do you think about our expansion?"

"Well what about expansion... I think we could really go big. We make our territory larger, and we get more power as a result. Do you agree?"

"I agree, you're really smart, you know?" Drew looked at him proudly.

It was unexpected for him that Drew would praise him.
"Thank you for the compliment... I just don't wanna waste our talents, y'know?"

Drew did an approval nod and said.
"I understand." After a few seconds, Drew asked. "Are you tired? We can rest while we have free time."

Mordecai smiled because he had an idea for how to get a good rest.
"Do you know what?" He said excitedly. "Usually after first successful mission of our newbies we're making a little celebrate for them. And I'd like to invite you in the our bar."

Drew didn't expect Mordecai's proposition. Of course he'd like to celebrate... And drink a little bit.
"Oh really? It would be great. And when this event will begin?"

Mordecai picked his watch that was in his inner pocket and looked at it. Glass on it was broken, and this item had a lot of scratches. It's ticking quietly with muffled and scratching sounds. Mordecai whispered.
"Shoot, I wish I had a new..."

Drew stepped forward to Mordecai so he could see Mordecai's watch. He noticed the scratches and broken glass.
"Huh... And how long you have this broken item?"

"For a long time... This watch is a simple one, just can't find a time to buy a new one. I guess I definitely need a new." He looked back at Drew, and put his item back in inner pocket. "Anyway, now it's only 3 PM. I need to talk with members to prepare everything," he smiled "I guess it'll be around 8 PM. Is it okay?"

Drew nodded and said.
"Yes, it's completely fine. Thank you."

"There's no need to be grateful, it's a tradition."
Said Mordecai with warm tone.

"Okay then," Drew shrugged and said "I'll be there at 8 PM."

"Alright, this was our only mission for today and I'm gonna prepare everything. Meet me in our hideout 10 minutes at 8 PM. I'll lead you to the bar."

"Okay."

Said Drew and they two said goodbye. They went their separate ways. Mordecai didn't know why he was doing it, just mostly he didn't organise celebrations, especially for newbies.
