After the trees were saved by Ted, the Onceler looked thneedville with pride and happiness. He felt a warm tear, rolled down his face, then heard a familiar voice from the the sky.

"Oneceler." A low voice said growing closer.

The Onceler turned to see a stout orange figure descending down, shrouded in a golden haze. So clouded, yet so clear.

"Lorax...?" his voice shook as the old man hastily wiped his tears.

The Lorax's feet planted in the familiar grass. Before he could get a word out the Onceler wrapped his arms around the stubby man-like creature.

"I'm sorry..." His voice shook.

The hug was broken after a bit. The Lorax wore a warm smile. He cleared his throat looking with old teary eyes at his aged enemy.

"You look like hell."

"It feels like I just got back." The Onceler said with an old chuckle.

"Look... I... Feel like I owe you something." the Lorax said hesitantly.

"Owe me something!?" The Onceler cried.

"Have you gone senile? You don't owe me anything."

"No I do. I feel like I owe you a second chance."

"A... Second chance...?" The Onceler questioned.

"You... You shouldn't have spent your youth alone. Not making any friends or a lover as you aged. And it would make me feel shameful if I didn't help you knowing that it's within my power."  The Lorax Said.

"Within your power?" The Onceler only seemed more confused.

"Would you like a second chance?"

He pondered for a moment. Moving his words around in his mouth.

After a moment of hesitation, The Onceler spoke.

"Yes..."

"K." The Lorax said putting his tiny Orange hands out.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? GAHHHHH IT HURTS!" The Onceler cried.

"I'm giving you a second chance." The Lorax said shooting bullets out of his hands.

Then everything went black....
