I woke up in the morning to the sun shining in my room I still couldn't believe my new life.
It was 6:00 school started at 7:30 so I had plenty of time to get ready for the day. I looked at the uniform Dara had brought to my room last night. It was a white shirt and a blue skirt that went to my knees I put on my uniform and did my skin care. At my last job I was able to save up enough for some skin care and makeup

After getting ready I walked downstairs and saw the family together Dara and Gan were cooking breakfast while Rain was scrolling through his phone at the table
Dara sees me enter the room "good morning" "Good morning" i reply They were cooking eggs on rice with fresh mango. Dara motioned me to sit down. After I sat down I looked at the time it was already 6:50. Dara sees me looking at the clock "don't worry we have plenty of time the school isn't to far away" I smile "are you nervous for your first day" "A bit" I say "Don't worry too much Rain also goes to that school as well as my nephew" Dara says. That makes me feel better about today
- after breakfast - Rain and I get into the car Gan was driving us to school, it took about 20 minutes to get there.
It was a nice building with trees around it and a courtyard with a water fountain in front.
When we got our Gan took me to the front office to make sure my transfer was complete and I could start. They had all the information and handed me my schedule.
A girl named Anh gave me a tour of the school. We went to the gym, cafeteria, extracurricular rooms, and finally my home classroom.
Anh walked in first whispering to the teacher. She looked over at me and smiled, soon Anh left but before she told me "I'm in class b next door so come over if you need me" "Okay, thank you" I responded The teacher brought me to the front of the room "everyone this is our new student" then she told me to introduce myself "Hello, I'm Amara please treat me well" I said bowing to them while pressing my palms together "Hello" the class said "You can call me Ms. V, go sit in the back" she said pointing at two desks near the back
I walked to the back of the classroom trying not to make eye contact with everyone staring at me. I sat in the the desk next to the window
We started our English lesson for the day, I was excited because it's my best subject. My father was able to study in the states for a while because of that he taught me a lot of English hoping we would be able to visit together.
I was able to snap out of my daydream when I hear the clacking of shoes enter our room.
