The midnight cobblestone streets were lit. The group walked as a herd, leaving him behind. All drunk and in merry. Looking at them, he sat down on one knee in insecurity of the thought that he'd be left behind. He tied his shoelace and got up dusting his palms onto his thighs. The gang took a left turn and their banter diminished.

"Sons of bitches!" he muttered as he walked briskly towards them. As he took the turn, he could see his friends at another junction.

"Wait for me!", he yelled. But they didn't bother to turn around. He ran towards the junction as his pals took a right which led to an old colony of abandoned mansions. The light on the streets faded as they walked through it. He ran towards them fearing he'd lose them in that darkness.

Hyde yelled, "Look at this! Just look at this! It looks like no one has been here since a while. What a shame that these kids broke the windows of this beautiful mansion. And lucky for us that we can sneak in.", he smirked as he went on to put his hand through a broken glass and unlock the window.

The crowd stood there drunk with all the juices they had previously. They followed Hyde as he jumped in hitting his knee on the windowsill.

He came running towards the old mansion. Under the moonlight, a dark full building with many windows overlooking the street and two alleys on either sides could be seen. He entered through the same window his mates went in.

The group with all their flashlights on parted ways into different rooms. They kept blabbering to overcome the fright the mansion oozed.

"Guys! Oh here you are! When I ask you to wait for me, you wait!", he exclaimed.

"Do you hear that? I could hear someone whisper something.", Donna said.

"What? Really? I wasn't paying attention. It could be our lads from the other room." Eric explained to her.

"This is getting creepy. I can hear it again.",  said Donna.

"Let me check on the others.", he said as our guy went into the other room.

"Flash the light at the door! Quick!", Fez shouted.

"Oh my God! Did you see that? Did you see him? Holy shit!" Jackie screamed in disbelief.

"It can't be! He's been dead for two months now! What the fuck?!" a shook Fez yelled.

The two from the other room ran in and Donna screamed, "I heard his voice! It was him! I could hear him whispering! Let's get out of here guys!"

He ran towards the windows. Stuck his head out of one and looked into the glass. The reflections were clear under the moonlight. Everything could be seen in the glass, except his own self.
