I Have a Dream For Humanity-Speech-By Kenneth Haynes

                I have a dream that one day society as a whole will not care about each other's differences and that one day everyone will care about the world and the non-human things that occupy it. My dream is that one day all of humans' misdeeds will be repented in more than one or two pathetic ways. I want humans to finally show compassion and empathy for all beings on earth. I want it all to end; the wars that the media is told to edit so that we don't see dead bodies, the corporate system trying to make us into perfect little consumers, and people's illogical hatred for one another, I want it all to end now.

                I have a dream that one day soon people will be educated on what must be done if we as a species are to survive for the remainder of our Sun's terminal existence. In my dream I see a perfect society within one with no compassion or empathy. I see a place where people can all live together, work together, and actually feel for the death of all the children, all the people who have set themselves on fire and just sat still while burning to death. I am not talking about your five dollars a month were in return for your 'generous' donation you get a twenty dollar water bottle and a fifteen dollar T-Shirt. I'm talking about actually getting involved in things, not just feeling satisfied with five percent of your purchase going to a charity of your choice.

                Now is the time, now is the time to stand up for what is not only morally right, but what should have been done a long time ago. I have a dream that never again will there be one man standing alone in front of a row of tanks, the only one standing up to a poisoned government. In my dream no one stands alone, no one is left behind or forgotten, because it just shouldn't be done. There have been attempts to end famine, political injustice, and war. None with as much vigor as our grandparents and great grandparents; who lived through one or two world wars, who lived through the great depression, who proved that their determination as a whole was more than enough to make sure the world would advance to a new dawn, a new day, a new era. When you hear the tales of what our great-grandparents did too fight all forms of injustice, you feel something, you wonder at their bravery. You might even feel something for the people in countries wrought with police brutality, and the bravery that these young men and women are showing in today's depressing society.

                Yes, we are a first world country; however we will not be one forever if the human race continues to kill millions. The numbers have already been tolled and they will only continue to rise, unless YOU do something. You are only alone for as long as you remain silent. Don't remain silent, speak up, show your compassion and empathy for those in situations far beyond what your worst nightmares can generate. Prove that you care, so that my dreams of a perfect society within a boiling sea of hatred need not come true. Make the world one entity; make all of the world one society that is perfect. Stand up, stand up and remove yourself from the dark numbness of your mind and finally speak, spread the word.
