Ranmaru received his first salary and was stunned to see it was a lot more than he had initially expected. Granted, he had no idea how much an assistant to a successful businessman makes but to him this was more than enough.

He returned home in great excitement. If he continued to receive such a salary he could easily begin his plans of renovating the apartment. He sat down on his desk and began writing to call the workers.

The following day was a holiday and Takuto decided to visit Ranmaru. He was surprised to see Ranmaru extraordinarily upbeat.

"Is something the matter?" Takuto asked curiously.

"Yes! I have some great news. " He answered but then rolled his eyes, "Well, it's really great for me. "

"I can finally begin renovating this apartment." He announced barely able to contain himself.

"What's wrong with this apartment?" Takuto asked involuntarily.

"It's... it's not Parisian." Ranmaru hesitantly answered, "You wouldn't understand." He pouted.

"I don't have to. If you're happy, I'm happy." Takuto answered and circled his arms around his waist. He pulled him close in one quick motion and the next moment they were indulging in some kissing.

But Ranmaru's mind was still caught up in his big news.

"Silk curtains." He suddenly spoke against Takuto's lips.

"Huh?"

"When I have bigger windows, I'll get silk curtains on it, pretty ones." He dreamed out loud.

"And what else?" Takuto figured it was futile to get him to focus on anything else so he humored him.

"And I think here..." He walked up to a wall, "I'll have them carve some floral intricacies. And over there..."

He glanced at Takuto's face and found him staring at him with pure admiration.

"What?"

"You just look even more beautiful when talking about your dreams. " Takuto was honest.

Ranmaru responded with a smile.

"I hope you get the apartment that you want."

As evening fell darker, Ranmaru and Takuto lazily lounged on the couch. Ranmaru rested his head on Takuto's shoulder as Takuto focused on a book that he had come to in his coat pocket. Ranmaru was staring into it too but as soon as he would figure out one word, Takuto would be done and turn the page.

"Don't you have an invitation to a party?" Ranmaru suddenly sat up.

"Uhh...I don't think so. " Takuto said evasively.

"Yes you do, I myself put it in your schedule."

"But I don't want to go." Takuto huffed childishly.

"And you would read a book in my boring apartment?"

"Why, it's perfect?" Takuto was genuinely confused.

He pondered over it for a moment, "Do you want to go?" He asked.

"I wish! But why would I be invited?" Ranmaru's face wilted.

"Alright, come with me then. I'll go for your sake."

"Really? Can we go?" Ranmaru sat up at once. His face was now glowing.

"Anything for you." Takuto smiled.

Ranmaru sprang up and rushed in to get ready. Takuto began to study the peculiar items that were taking up space around the couch.
