I walk into the hotel a little anxious.It was the table read for "Suicide Park".I know how it sounds like but just know it's a horror movie.I'm mostly anxious to work with the directors.Tyler Gillet and Matt Bertanilli Olpin.I loved their work on Ready or Not and on the Scream franchise.It's 12:05 right now and the meeting starts in 20.Great I have some time to kill.I sit down at the hotel bar and order a sunset martini.I gonna need one to calm nerves.It's so bad my hand is shaking slightly.I give the bartender my card and he comes back soon with the card and my martini.I sip on my drink and scroll through my messages.I see one from my foster mom wishing me luck.I smile at the text and heart it.I quickly down my drink and get up,still on my phone checking my emails now.It's 12:20 now I should probably get to the the meeting room now.I start to head there when I bump into someone.

Jada-No I should've been looking where I was going.My fault.
I look up and see.Mason fucking Gooding.Oh God he's much hotter in person.Much taller too.
Jada-Oh fuck you're Mason Gooding
Mason smiles at me his eyes full of curiosity
Mason-That I am.Can I get your name or will I just call you girl I bumped into?
I smile and pick up my phone from where I dropped it
Jada-Jada...Wilson
He scrunches his eyebrows questioningly
Mason-That name sounds familiar
Jada-Really?Maybe you heard me somewhere
Mason-Maybe
Jada-Probably
He smiles at me and I return the favor.My phone suddenly goes off and we both pull away from each other.How did I not realize how dangerously close we were?Its my meeting alarm fuck it's 12:30.
Jada-I'm sorry I gotta go.It was really nice meeting you
Mason-You too
I give him a small sideways smile and run to the meeting room they reserved.I see a few people there that I don't really know so I just sit there on my phone in the corner when somebody comes up to me

Jada-Umm no not really I've been just sitting on my phone
Yara-Then let's get you introduced
She grabs my hand and I put my phone in my cargo pants pocket.She leads me over to where a group of 6 people were sitting talking to each other.
Yara-Guys,This is Jada ,Jada this is Felix-
She points to this guy sitting in the corner.He waves and goes back on his phone
Yara-Sydney-
She points to this girl who I recognize as Cassie off of Euphoria
Sydney-Hey!
She goes back to goofing off with this other guy.
Yara-Algee-
The guy sidney was playing with gives me a subtle nod and continues to try and get sydney to stop playing with his face like a grandma
Yara-Alexa
She points to the girl next to Algee and Sydney who's recording them
Alexa-Hi! I love your outfit.
Jada-Aww thank you
I look down at my cargo pants and my v-neck crop top.
Yara-Amandla
She points to this girl who is looking at her script.with this other girl
Yara-Coco
She points to the girl studying with Amandala
Yara- And last but not least Timothee and Lucas
She points to this boy making stupid faces at this other guy.They both look up and wave in unison.
Yara-We're just waiting on one more person.Matt and Tyler are outside talking
Jada-Do you know who we're waiting-
Yara-Him!
I turn around and surprisingly see Mason talking with Tyler and Matt.He spots me out of the slight corner of his eyes and starts to grin.That same grin stays on his face when he makes his way over to the rest of us
Mason-I found out where I know you from
Jada-Oh please do tell
Mason-You were in this one movie called "The Comparisons".You played that girl that got kidnapped
Jada-Yeah I did. Leah
Mason-Yeah she was my favorite
I smile at him looking into his dark brown eyes.He smiles back and we just stare at each other taking in the moment
Yara-Ok! Seems like you two have met
We pull away a little embarrassed.God everybody was staring at us.
Matt-Ok now that everybody has had a chance to get familiar with each other.Let's begin
I nod and we all take a seat in the big meeting room.
