- Y/NS POV -

"Are you sure your ok with all this?" My mum asked again. I didn't know how to answer that, I mean I'm being sent away to my cousins house for god knows how long, because my mum can't financially support me, my dads just an ass, I mean would anyone be ok with that? So I just settle on saying what I've said the last one hundred times she had asked me.

"Honestly mum, I'll be fine, I miss Stan, and plus it shouldn't be for to long anyway." I said as I went back to resting my chin on the palm of my hand. The fresh Derry air blew in from the open window turning my nose a lighter shade of pink. I missed the calmness of Derry, nothing drastic ever seemed to happen, I mean not what I can remember anyway. I checked the time, 10:36am, i should be arriving at Stanley's house soon. Stan is my cousin, we were best friends growing up until the age of about 7 when my parents, well my dad decided to move us to the other side of the country. I haven't seen Stan since, I wonder how he's doing.

"Shouldn't be to long now hun, sorry about all of this." My mum said breaking the silence, she has been feeling bad about this for awhile. It wasn't her fault and she knows that, It was my dad, she just had to apologise for him.

"Mum honestly don't worry about it, go get your self happy again, then you can come get me, I doesn't matter to me how long you need." I said, I mean I wasn't wholly honest, I didn't want to leave my mum behind, but she didn't need to know that. It would only upset and worry here even more.

"Thank you hunny" that's was the last thing said for the remainder of the car ride, silence took over again. I close my eyes and just sigh a deep breath, for once in a long time I was able to just relax.

~ 45 MINUTES LATER ~

I step out of the car facing towards Stanley's house. I sigh a deep breath as I try to push away my worries. I wave my mum goodbye as she takes off down the road, I watch her drive away before she finally turns the corner, disappearing.

I put one foot in front the other as I make my way towards the door. I look around taking in all the well kept grass and plants along the dive way.

"Come on, you'll be fine" I whisper to myself as I knock on wooden door. I take a step back as I wait for Stan to appear on the other side, the door handle slowly turns towards the ground, letting me know someone was there, the door creaked open.

An average hight boy with thick glasses stood on the other side, he had short black hair that was ruffled in all directions. He wore the weirdest Hawaiian t-shirt in the brightest orange colour with palm trees on it. That was definitely not Stanley, so who was it?

"Who are you?" I say trying not to be rude, but I was so confused, why was this guy opening the door and not Stan.

"Wo wo hot stuff, no need for the attitude, I'm Richie, Stanley's best friend." the boy said introducing himself holding the funniest grin. He moved himself to the side allowing me enough room to get passed.

"Um ok well I'm y/n Uris, Stan's cousin." I say in a lower tone, I'm not very comfortable around people that I don't really know. I walk into the house moving myself passed Richie. I look around the big hallway it had many different rooms coming off of it, it looks just like I can remembered it when I was last here. I hear someone thumping down the stairs, it was Stan sliding in on his socks and embracing me in a large hug.

"Y/N I MISSED YOU!" He said hugging me like we were 6 again. I smiled into his chest I really missed him too.

"I missed you so much to, you don't even know" I said through laughs. When I was with Stan flask backs from my childhood always replayed in my mind. My life from the age of 4 to 7 was the best time.
