"Crash!" Huge bolts of lightning ferociously struck outside and they seemed to be lighting up the whole sky. I rhythmically tapped my foot on the hard wooden floor as I stared at my reflection in the glass window. Rain was heavily bucketing down as small raindrops softly splattered on the window. Underneath the sea of grey clouds were people wandering the busy streets in a zombie-like crowd, and I just sat there watching them and the puddles of rainwater falling into gutters, never to be seen again. I let out a little shriek, as I had been startled by the sudden roar of thunder. I lifted my cold hands up to my face and gently rubbed my eyes. Everything started to blur, as if it was all just on an endless loop and never really there at all.
