THE POOLS, THE SMOOTHIES, the boys. Everything to enjoy about summer. 3 months of brain time away from drama, school work, and annoying classmates. What is there to not like about summer? Oh, right! The fact that my sister hasn't spoken to me once this summer and the week is almost over.
I take a sip of my mango-pineapple smoothie while looking at my sister, Kitty, desperately trying to get phone service. "Dae? Dae? Hello?" She starts. "Can you hear me?!" She says, raising her voice a slight bit. "Can you shut up? I'm trying to listen to the sounds of my last days of freedom!" I say, laying back in my floaty and listening to music from my summer playlist.
