You're too strong to lose yourself. You never doubt yourself, no matter what. You never give into the night or the darkness in your heart.
That was what he'd told Sonic back then.
Back before all of this happened.
But back then, he'd been withholding something from him.
He shouldn't have known at the time, but Light Gaia knew the truth.
Sonic the Hedgehog had never really been a hedgehog in the first place.
He was Dark Gaia.
He had always been Dark Gaia, and he'd never known.
Maybe that was why the Dark Gaia Energy changed him in the first place.
Becoming the Werehog had only been the first step in regaining his true identity.
Then it was that fateful day, once the world was about to be restored once more, that he'd finished that path to regaining his full godly power.
And it was time to do something about what he'd said.
It was the point of no return, the time to tell Sonic the truth.
And so he did.
