Best Trip Of My Life

Part 1

Well where to begin this day about 5 months ago started a whirlwind of events. With me and one of the popular boys at my high school named Brandon. Now everybody tells me I'm pretty I always thought I was average. I have tan skin long wavy black hair, I have Ray ban glasses, average features, athletic body, and brown eyesHe's on the football team, tall, abs the whole package. We go way back our family's are friends so we have always been around each other. I never really thought he noticed me until the last day of school before winter break, I mean we would talk in class but that about it. So anyway he stops me before we walk out of our ap euro class and he says "Hey Maddie we should hang out some time during break" now of course my special self had to start blushing and everything but I managed to get out "sure that would be fun I'll text you". After embarrassing myself I quickly walked out the room and to my locker so I could get my jacket and go home. After getting home and settled my best friend Jasmine texts me and asks me if I wanted to go on a camping trip with her to forest. It's just a couple hours away so I said why not. Then Brandon popped in my head so I asked her if I can invite some one of course she said sure why not. We all agreed on leaving that Sunday around 11 am. I would later find out that night there was going to be a full moon.

Sunday: I woke up that morning around 8:30 just make sure I had everything packed and ready to go. By 9 I was in the shower. I put my hair in a messy bun and got dressed that day I decided to put on black leggings, white Hollister hoodie, plus my north face coat and boots. After that I toke everything downstairs that I packed then made myself something to eat. At around 10:30 I get a text from Jasmine saying she can't go anymore she ended up catching the flu from her brother. So that just left me and Brandon. I asked him if he still wanted to go being a guy of course he said "of course girl, I'll be at your house in a couple minutes". I giggled and sat on the couch and watched some tv while I waited for his fine ass to get to my house. Now that I really think about it I didn't really know Brandon's background like that I just knew he was mixed half black half Native American. Anyway he gets to my house and we get my stuff in his car he has a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. On the way there it went by super quick since he had me laughing the time. We get to our camping spot and get everything unloaded and packed. As night falls we get a fire going and make some burgers. Sitting by the camp fire we told stories and just talked. One the stories I really liked was one his grandfather (also a tribe elder) used to tell him when there people would turn into wolves to keep there villages safe harm. When the boys would reach around age 13 the elders would take them away from there parents so they could be taught how to turn safely.
