Jungkook skidded his bike to a halt, cutting it close to the college steps. He hadn’t even turned off the engine before a group of girls nearby broke into cheers, their faces lighting up at his arrival. With a grin, he took off his helmet, ruffling his messy hair and winking at the small crowd.

"Hello, beautiful ladies," he greeted, his voice full of playful charm, and the girls squealed, some of them giggling and whispering to each other. He let the moment stretch, enjoying the attention.

But then, a sudden hush fell over the group. Emerging from the crowd was Lisa, and she was impossible to miss.

Her long hair spilled like dark silk over her shoulders, framing her pale skin and delicate features. A few bangs brushed her brow, adding to her striking appearance, but it was her eyes-sharp and unyielding, narrowed in his direction-that made Jungkook swallow.

"Yah, alien," she called out, her voice cutting through the silence. "You're dead. Why are you so late?" Her hands were on her hips, and even as she glared, her beauty was captivating enough to make his heart skip.

For a second, he was speechless, though he tried to hide it. But then he remembered why he was supposed to be there early in the first place.

Lisa had messaged him about Bambam being sick and unable to practice with her for an upcoming event, begging him-okay, more like ordering him-to step in as her partner.

"Oh no..." Jungkook muttered, realization dawning on him as Lisa stalked closer, her eyes never leaving his. He gave her a sheepish grin. "Uh... L-Lisa! You know, I actually, uh, got caught up with something really important, but I'm here now!"

Her eyes narrowed further. "Important, huh?" She took a step closer, and he instinctively stepped back.

"Oh no, you're really mad, aren't you?" he stammered, already calculating his escape route.

"Mad?" She raised an eyebrow, her voice dropping into an icy tone. "You have no idea. If I miss practice because of you..."

Jungkook didn't wait for her to finish. He spun on his heel and bolted, yelling over his shoulder, "Sorry, L! But maybe Bambam will feel better tomorrow!"

Her voice followed him, fiery and relentless. "You're not getting out of this, you monkey! Come back here!"

He glanced back just in time to see her picking up her pace, chasing after him with a determined look. He picked up speed, laughing as he zigzagged through the courtyard, dodging students who watched the two of them with wide eyes and amused smiles.

"Catch me if you can, Shortcake!" he taunted, but he didn't dare look back again. He knew that Lisa, with her fierce spirit and unmatched determination, wouldn't give up so easily.

And though he was running for his life, a part of him couldn't help but feel a strange warmth bubbling up inside, like their banter-this back-and-forth game of cat and mouse-was exactly where he wanted to be.
