Never Ending Ocean

I wasn't all that excited about the idea of ​​going out with them. But here i was with my two best friends and the three guys which I would have never imagined that I would hang out with, drinking together at the same bar. Honestly, I'm having fun and I really don't mind the boys at all, ecxept from Ethan who is still very rude and distand, looking like he doesn't care and wants to leave from here as soon as possible.

The whole time we are sitting here Ethan has barely spoken and is constantly looking at his phone. Unlike his two friends who were very talkative. 

We are all about the same age, Nate is studying Biology and Andrew chemistry. Pretty impressive if you ask me, since both of these schools are really hard. "And what about you? "I looked over Ethan.

"Im studying to be a lawyer", he said without taking his eyes from his phone screen. What? He doesn't seem the type of person to be going to law school, I'm a little surprised, since I want to be one too.

"Oh really Phoebe too!" Sofia said with excitement.

He took his eyes from the screen looked directly in my eyes. I held the eye contact and I took a sip from my drink. "Interesting", I said without breaking the eye contact.

"What about you girls? What are you styding?" He said while he turned to look at Sofia and Isabella.

I laughed and took another sip from my drink. I think I was starting to get a little dizzy, concidering this was my 4rth drink of the night.

"Im styding psycology and Sofia goes to a nursing school", Issy said kind of lazily.

He tried to look interested but he wasn't a good actor as it seems. Why is he even here? because it's clear to me that he doesn't want to.

"I don't feel so good i think Im gonna go back to the hotel", I say as I stand up to leave.

"Do you need us to come with you?" Andrew said ready to leave.

Before i could respond to his question Ethan stepped in:

"Its okay Im gonna go with her, I wanted to leave anyways", he started to walk towards the door without waiting for the others or me to respond. So i guess he was looking for an excuse after all.

i followed him and we walked for a little side to side at the sidewalk without anyone saying a word. The only thing I could hear is the sound of the sea hitting the sand. I looked to the sky, the moon was full and the stars were very bright. The cool breeze of the summer night was hitting my face, calming me down. Everything was so beautifull, I couldn't stop admiring the view.

I stopped. He turned to face me in confusion but he didn't say anything. I took my heels to my hands and i continued to walk.

"It wasn't necessary to come with me. I could go back at the hotel on my own."

"Like I said I wanted to leave anyways so it's not a big deal. "

I kept walking without saying anything.

"Give me the heels i can cary them for you", I turned to look at him in shock cause i really didn't expect that especially from him.

"Now what? you became a gentleman?", I say sarcasticaly this guy does the most random things I swear, I can't even understand what he's thinking ninety nine percent of the time.  

"No Im just trying to help you. You said you didn't feel well."

"Why you are so rude to me? I mean I don't like you much either but atleast Im polite. And don't tell me it's for the cake because this would be ridiculous."
