This is a companion book to Between Life and Death, and can be seen as extended Author Notes for the story. If you are currently reading the story, you can read this alongside it, chapter by chapter.
You don't need to read the entire chapter for information - I've organised things under headings, so you can just look for the part you're interested in. I've tried not to include spoilers in each of the chapters, although there may be hints and clues.
If you are reading Between Life and Death as fiction, not as a piece of fanfiction, then I urge you to please NOT read this book, as it may simply confuse you, or ruin the story for you.
The Mighty Boosh (the comedy troupe) has the same name as the television show they wrote. Always remember that The Mighty Boosh refers to Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding as comedy partners, while The Mighty Boosh is the TV show. On the rare occasions I refer to The Mighty Boosh radio show, which predates the TV series, I will indicate that.
Julian and Noel's characters in the show are Howard Moon and Vince Noir. For convenience, I have referred to them as Howard/Julian and Vince/Noel, to save the tedium of constantly saying, "Howard, portrayed by Julian Barratt" ... I frequently conflate the real Julian and Noel with their fictional characters in the story itself, but that's because they do so themselves.
As Noel said, "There are no characters. It's just us."
I have included quite a bit of relevant information about the two protagonists, but that doesn't mean I have revealed every one of Julian and Noel's secrets. Or mine, for that matter. But don't worry, plenty of tea gets spilled. There is a fine line between research and stalking, and after a while, it gets hard to actually see the line for yourself.
REMEMBER: EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED
