SUMMARY
Raven Roberts was a teenager, who lived an awfully strict life that was filled with all sorts of expectations and rules. At home, she had very overprotective helicopter parents who didn't let her do basically anything, and on top of that, she was a student at Visions Academy, at the top of her class, and she had to keep it that way, since she couldn't imagine what that failure could do for her.
She hated it. How strict everything was, how she felt as if she had no agency in her own life. Nobody really had faith in her or anything when it came to her dreams of becoming a hero of some sort, like her idol, Spider-Man. Not really anybody thought she was capable of it, especially her parents. And, eventually at some point, she started to lose faith in herself.
But, that faith had been instantly restored once she finds herself developing powers of her own after she was bitten by a spider of some sort. However, the joy of being hero quickly died down when she had the weight of the world placed on her, and her friend, and crush, Miles Morales's shoulders after Spider-Man is murdered and they have to defeat his enemies themselves.
The two of them must train themselves to figure out how they're going to save the multiverse from collapsing in on itself, even though, they're both two inexperienced, clumsy teenagers. But, luckily for them, they won't be alone. They'll have the help of a few other Spider-people, who all just so happen to be from different dimensions.

A/n: Raven is a Black and Hispanic girl, and I will try my best to describe her features and appearance throughout the story. Given that I'm a black girl myself, I find it much more easy writing protagonists that are people of color. Also, Miles and Raven are both 13-15 in this story.
