RWBY x MHA: Tale of the Coin

Volume 1. [[Chapter 10]] The Red Falls in Yellow

For being around 5am once again, you would expect only Jaune to be going around with Izuku alongside with. But the days are never the same as the prior ones, in this case, the difference was rather obvious.

Jaune was doing his thing, he looked more exhausted than last time but this time he had a little coaching of a certain someone who was keeping an eye on him with looks of concern and joy to seeing him grow more and more. Pyrrha really couldn't help herself while smiling and seeing the scenario at hand, it really made her happy to see him try but she was worried he would send his body a bit too far at such an early state.

Continuing to keep an eye on him, Pyrrha finally decided to stop him after a while, letting him drop to the ground while breathing heavily as she checked on him rather concerned.

"Hey is everything fine?"

"Yeah... exhaustion... just need new lungs... not much more..."

"y-yeah.."

She could only comment while having a sweatdrop over his comment as he properly stood up and sat down. Not having much of a choice, she decided to accompany him and sat down next to him.

"..Jaune."

"Y-yeah...?"

"Can I ask you about last time? You know... the whole talk we had while at the dorms."

"Oh..! oh... what about it?"

"Look, I dont know if we went a bit too harsh on you or what exactly made you change of perspective so brutally to agree with us, but I've been concerned about it for a while now since I didn't expect you to just... accept."

"...Why do you say that..?"

"Well you were adamant at first, you told us it wasn't worth it but suddenly decided to agree, so I'm just... confused to the why."

"...."*sigh*"I had a talk with Izuku that day."

"...huh..?"

"It was the morning when i saw him and he told me about him... he opened up about his past and... and remembering it made me reflect on my choices to negate the help of any of you."

Jaune could only cover his eyes as he continued narrating.

"You Only Live Once...So live it like you'll live a million more. Make it unforgettable. Those were his words to him before leaving."

Pyrrha seemed to have gain more concern while looking at the blonde boy next to her as he stared at the palm of his hand.

"I look to what I am and realize how out of place I am... How I feel like I could be more but my own arrogance goes against. Its tiring. And Izuku knows it and he seemingly doesn't want to see me fail and... I... I dont want to fail him... or Ren, or Nora or even... you."

"...."

Pyrrha could only bring a smile to herself after listening to his response, it seemed sort of a primitive reaction of her but she truly couldn't help after listening to his words.

"You don't fail any of us... I dont think you ever will... but is great to hear you want to become better than what you already are. But do it for your own good, not for us, i-if its not much asking."

"...no, is not. So does this mean I can always count on you?"

"Until the end of the endless winters."

"But is not- Oh...! I see what you did there."

Pyrrha couldn't help but get a laugh out of this as Jaune could only scratch the back of his head under the slightly embarrasing response he was giving to her.
