Li, her brother and I were walking to the store. We was gonna go grocery shopping but everyone was tired from the drive, so we opted for snacks from the corner store Instead.  Li and Her brother Tyree were ahead of me talking about our plan for the rest of the trip. I said a few words here and there but I wasn't really in the talkative mood. Something didn't feel right, I felt like I was being watched.

"Yo shawty you good?" Tyree asked putting his arm over my shoulder. I smiled and nodded "Yup just a bit tired that's all"  He chuckled "Damn girl, You slept for four hours and you still sleepy?" I punched his shoulder. "Okay first off nigga you in my business- Don't do that, And Second of all Yes I am still sleepy after a Four hour nap" I giggled. He shook his head chuckling "You women love to sleep huh?" Li looked at us and smirked.

I shook my head as we reached the door to the corner store. Tyree pulled away from me and opened the door for us. Li and I walked into the store arm linked and walked off towards the drinks. "So you and my brother hm?" She asked wiggling her eyebrows I rolled my eyes and stuck my middle finger up at her. "Girl nothing, You know I'm not into him like that" I said shrugging my shoulders.

I opened up one of the coolers and grabbed a Georgia Peach Tea. Then made my way to the candy aisle. She sighed "I tried" I heard her tell him. I snickered He's had a crush on since we were in high-school. He was cute but I saw him as a brother. I've made that very clear to them both. I walked along looking at the different candy when the door was slammed shut. I looked up and around to find Li and Tyree not in the store. I shook my head and grabbed airheads and jolly ranchers and made my way to the front.

I was aware that I wasn't the only one in the store, But it did feel really weird being watched by the other shopper. She was quite the eye candy for sure, But I don't think I had any intentions on getting to know anyone in my current state. I was barley enjoying this trip as is but that's because we did nothing but drive and get settled in. Li said the fun wouldn't start until Midnight. It was only four in the afternoon, Everybody and they muva was still at work. Their parents wouldn't be getting here until tomorrow morning.

"Good afternoon pretty lady" the old man said scanning my items. I smiled at him and gave him a little nod not wanting to be in the store any longer. "You want a bag?" "Yes please thank you." He nodded and started bagging my items, I felt a presence behind me. "Ya total is 7.23" I nodded and went to reach for my pocket but Ole girl payed for me. I looked at her tatted fingers and arm making my breath hitch. I looked back at her "You welcome ma, Keep the change Big Joe." She said Winking at me and walked away heading out the door.

I grabbed my items and hurried outside. Tyree and Li was sitting on the curb already smoking a spliff. "Damn shorty what took you so long??" Tyree asked with a attitude. "Don't worry bout it let's just go."

Been a good ass minute since I last posted. I'm not gonna say I'm back for good but I did owe y'all something I promise it won't be boring after the next chapter I'll actually give y'all what y'all be wanting for a min.
