I'll explain everything that went right and wrong.
During the few months I spent my life with Oscar, I decided to move to Australia to move in with him. Yes, the place with kangeroos and everything. I had to admit - it wasn't too bad, it was in fact beautiful. I quickly got used to the place and the races I had to head to for my brother and Oscar.
There were fights with my family during the time period when I was deciding whether or not I was going to move away from England. Oliver went completely against the idea, while Lando and the others had agreed it was my choice. Oliver had mentioned about how expensive the plane tickets were and how far they'd had to fly to me.
But in the end, he was eventually convinced. There was a moment of shock between me and the whole family as one day, when he woke up, he suddenly said that I was allowed to move to anywhere now as long as someone I loved and had cared for was there.
And I didn't mention the pain of getting used to the accents, culture, food, people and the friendliness level over in Australia. Getting used to there was hard. I wasn't sure about the currency always, not understanding what piece of gadget or item was expensive or not.
After a month of deciding and talking, Oscar discovered he had enough and moved over to Monaco. Most of the F1 drivers lived in Monaco, and I would get to see Lando almost everyday as we lived quite close to him. I got to meet Max as well.
I was getting quite snuggled in Monaco and used to everything.
"You ready?" I had returned to England for my school's reunion day. At the same time it was the time for the Silverstone circuit, so we had returned to England for it. I dragged Oscar along with permission.
I was ready to bring him back to one of my favourite spots with Amelia back then. The primary school I attended was much more different to Lando's. He went to Millfield, and I went to some other school in London. My parents had sent me off to live with my cousins as I was thought as a distraction to Lando's karting career.
The primary school hadn't changed much over the past two or so decades. I was invited in with quite a lot of smiles, greetings and everything. As Lando wanted a peek of my school, he was dragged along as well. As soon as we reached the gates, many teachers and staff crowded around him. Oscar didn't get any or much attention, so we pulled ourselves in.
My last classroom still hadn't changed much. Still the same plastic storage drawers, plastic chairs and fake plastic wooden tables. There was a smartboard which replaced a large whiteboard the teachers usually used, but the whiteboard was still there. Only that it was moved to the side of the room. There were displays of karts across the display board, which the teachers might've have told the students to do as I asked if I could bring my brother along.
The blue carpet was still the same, although a different shade of blue. Oscar was absolutely fascinated at how UK primary schools taught their students, and explored the many pages of schoolwork we did.
Now there was the field. I led the shocked Oscar out, smling and chuckling at his face. "I'm about to show you something real nice."
"Where is it?" Oscar asked curiously as I ran across the field, him following close behind. We had now crossed student boundaries, some parents and staff examing the past areas while we ran quickly past them all. We had stopped at the end of the borders of the field, and there was a small space I could squeeze into. Trees loomed over the small area, but when you reached in there you could fit two or three people.
This was a space I often went to back then if I wanted some alone time, or if I wanted some alone time with Amelia instead. I could still sense her presence here. If only... no. Oscar sensed my doubts and the sadness about this place, and he pulled me in for a quick kiss. I gave a watery smile.
"Hey, maybe Jason will accept your valentine!" I had cheered Amelia up when we sat there. "I promise you he'll accept. Meanwhile, let's have our packed lunch here, Am!"
No bugs disturbed us. We had often brought in cans of bug spray in, sneaking it into the space and spraying around. I used to go into the space more and more after Amelia died. You could say I was an introvert and isolated myself from the real world.
But now I was here, sitting with my boyfriend, trying to get a glimpse of my horrible past life.

Romance"Ali?" The shocked face turned around as I tearfully nodded. There was a moment of silence and hesitation before he threw his phone on the bed, accepting the fact I was awake and hugging me tightly. "I love you so much." Gently he pressed his lips...
