" Yo Naliah you gon ball?" Damarcus asked Naliah as she sat on the bench by the gate not wanting to interact with anyone " No" She spoke turning her attention back to her phone.

" Whats up wit her?" Damarcus whispered to Notti " Jonah said some slick shit to her" He shook his head reminiscing " She hasn't been the same since" Notti started dribbling the ball getting ready to throw it in the hoop.

" I Thought she had a crush on ddot " Damarcus scratched his hair, " Since when? " Dd laughed rubbing his eye " Nigga since middle school" Damarcus grabbed the ball from Notti throwing it to Dd who threw it in the hoop.

" Say word" Dd hurried and ran to the ball " Word to my moms" Damarcus said truthfully, he knew a lot about Naliah.

Him and Naliah had a brotherly and sisterly relationship she came to him for anything.

" I knew she was jackin ddot bro" Dd put his fist to his mouth in shock " I'm flabbergasted" Notti said sarcastically taking a break to get some water.

" Yoo" Ddot walked in the court " Wassup Ddot" Damarcus dabbed him up going back to drinking his water " You tryna ball?" Notti asked " Nah I'm jus tryna chill" Ddot said sitting down on the bench close to Naliah.

" Oh yeah he tryna ' chill ' " Notti copied, He knew what ddot was tryna do. " Mcht shut up" Ddot smacked his teeth.

" Aii round two!" Dd yelled twisting the top back on the water bottle.

" Hey Naliah" Ddot spoke up making Naliah look up from her phone giving him a pointed look, Ddot pursed his lips together knowing she didn't wanna talk to anyone " I uh like yo Bracelet" He pointed just trying to start a conversation with her.

" Thank you.." She said not trying to be stand off-ish, " I like your chain" She smiled going back to her phone " Thank you- Yo ddot instead of flirting wit my sister come play" Dd yelled out interrupting the small conversation him and Naliah had.

" Can I have yo numba?" He asked realizing he never had her number " Sure" She mumbled giving him her phone watching him closely as he typed his number in her contacts, " Text me later" he cheesed walking away from the bench.

" Girll! You just got ddot number" Kaliana exclaimed to her best friend " So?" Naliah squinted her eyes trying to understand why it was such a big deal.

" Girl he obviously like you!" Eva playfully hit Naliah's arm " I think he just wanted me to be his friend" Naliah shrugged.

Naliah really wasn't trying to be in a relationship after what happened she just wanted to be left alone.

" Nah he wanna- lemme not" Tayla laughed at her joke, Tayla didn't care if she made the joke if she think it's funny she gon laugh.

" Lemme finish it for her" Kaliana started " Ahem!" She cleared her throat " He wanna fuck" She finished making Eva and Tayla bust out into a loud pile of laughter.

" Your not funny" Naliah straight faced Kaliana taking a hit from the Vape pen Notti let her borrow.

She wasn't giving it back though so she hoped he knew.

" Okay I'm sorry I'm sorry" Kaliana let out a few more laughs in between her words " But I thought you had a crush on him" She looked at her.

" I Used to I don't anymore" Naliah semi-lied.

She had a crush on him when she was eleven. During their freshman year the crush had past and she started dating Jonah.

" Yeahh sure" Eva twisted her lips to the side looking at her friend unconvinced, she knew Naliah was still feeling Ddot, Naliah was just to heart broken and numb to admit her feelings to anyone anymore.

" I swear! plus Talia like him " Naliah shrugged " I fucking hate Talia" Tayla shivered, Talia was Jonah's younger sister. You could tell they were related because they both did the same fucked up shit.

" Talia a fucking Slut bro" eva rolled her eyes " I heard she had sex wit two mans at the same time" Kaliana widened her eyes making her friends know she was telling the truth.

" Crazy " Naliah chuckled hitting the vape till it was a blinker.

" You a fucking nic feen" Tayla joked looking at Naliah put the vape to her side " I needed it" Naliah lazily smiled laying down.

" Naliahhhh" Dd dragged on from down the hallway " Naliah!" He exclaimed bursting into his sisters room " What?" She asked " You tryna come wit us to the deli?" He asked " hmm" She thought, she didn't really like getting out the house unless it was needed.

" Yeah I guess" She got up from her bed putting on Notti's slides he left in her room " I'm only coming so I can get some snacks calm down" She stank faced dd who looked like he was about to jump up and down.

" Mane whatever I'm jus happy you finally coming with us" His smile dropped " Yall coming?" She asked her three best friends who sat on her day bed " Yeah' They got up following behind Dd and Naliah as they went downstairs.

" So Naliah theres this party righ- yall not going to no party" Their mom cut Dd off " Ma!" He looked at her with a mug.

" Thank you mom" Naliah thanked in her head, If she went to a party she would most likely run into Talia or Jonah probably both at the same time so she didn't wanna go.

"Yall don't needa go to no party and im pretty sure Naliah doesn't wanna go" Their mom explained " Mhm" Naliah pursed her lips together.

" Aii bro" Dd rolled his eyes, Naliah looked at dd up and down suspiciously, She knew that he was up to something because he wouldn't give up that easily. Especially when there's a party.
