"ELLIE!" Serenas excited voice came through the phone which made Elodie instantly smile. She was finally allowed to call back home and of course her first call was going to be to her sister. Elodie already missed her so much, she just wished she never had to leave in the first place.
"Hi, Rena!" Elodie responds in the same tone. "Staying out of trouble?" She asks, knowing her sister was one to wreak havoc, especially for their father.
"Mm, a bit." Serena admits and Elodie laughs a little bit.
"It's good to talk to you."
"I wish you were here." Serena's voice sounded a bit sad which made Elodie frown.
"I know. You'll see me in no time, I promise." Elodie hoped that was true. She hated breaking promises but right now, she couldn't exactly give an exact date.
"Papa said that you may not come back for a few months." Serena tells her and Elodie wanted to punch her father. Why would he even say something like that. Well, he was most likely hoping that would be the case.
"Well, nothings for certain." She denies and she heard Serena sigh a bit.
"Is everyone nice?" Her sister asks and Elodie almost wanted to laugh at that. Most of the guys here treated her like a little girl or like she was scum on the bottom of their shoe.
"Uh.. relatively."
"Is the guy cute?" Serena asks suddenly and Elodie was wondering why the topic of conversation suddenly switched.
"Which guy?" Elodie asks, a bit confused on what she was talking about.
"The researcher?" Serena says in an obvious tone and Elodie bites her tongue a bit.
"Oh, he's not my type." She denies, rubbing the back of her neck.
