"nigga what's taking you so long?— "i'm outside henny chill bro." DD said on the other line.

i rolled my eyes and hung up the phone.

dd was my plug. he had been from the time i started smoking. but he was always lagging.

i got up from the couch as i heard a knock on my front door. i looked through my peep hole, peeping it was dd, i undid the locks.

"don't rush me again yo." dd said as he shoved a paper bag into my arms. "what's this?" i said looking down as i realized it wasn't weed.

"i got you some food. that's what took me so long." he said as he plopped down onto my couch, his curly hair swaying in his face.

"awnn thank you pookie." i said smiling knowing he hated me calling him pookie. "yea you welcome." he said lowly.

dd reached into his back pocket and pulled out a plastic bag full of grams, along with rolling paper & grabba and began the rolling up process.

i wandered over and sat beside him, propping my feet up on the coffee table in-front of the couch as i ate a few of my fries.

"guess who came by the spot looking for you today— "who?" i said with a mouthful of fries.

"kenneth." dd said. i damn there choked on my fry. "kenneth? my ex?" i asked as my eyes got big.

dd nodded in response.

"what he wanted?" i asked as i licked the salt from the fries off my fingers.

"he wanted to know where you was at, i lied and said you moved to la." dd said as he begin to lick the blunt.

my hand flew over my mouth as i started to laugh. "why would you tell him that knowing he gone see me on the block?" i questioned.

"guess who won't be going on the block then." dd said. he turned to me and pointed at me with a goofy look on his face.

i smacked my teeth and pushed his finger from out my direction.

"yeah okay." i said as i passed him a lighter, seeing he had finished rolling up.

we started our rotation. it went on for about 25 minutes before the both of us were dumb high.

"bro you're stupid." i said as i held my stomach from laughing at dd's corny ass jokes for so long.
