Roan was not a kingdom that thrived with a striking advantage or strong suit compared to other kingdoms.

Certainly not in Mages, Knights, Agriculture, or even Alchemy.

The Roan Kingdom had nothing special in particular.

Still, as one of the Western Continent's kingdoms, Roan could be considered a kingdom with the most extended history and the most significant source of high-quality and valuable stones.

The Land of Boulders, Cale amusedly thought back to Henituse territory.

Merchants all over Western Continent knew how valuable and renowned their products were. Mountains surrounded their territory, and it could be said that their hardworking territory residents operated many cave mining to be manufactured into shining marbles.

Along with their other profitable goods, Wine, The Henituse territory was one of the most well-off territories in Roan.

Recently, Cale began to take an interest in the quality of his stepmother's garments when he attended a tea party hosted by Viscountess Ubarr a few months ago.

The ladies and other matriarchs were... so animatedly enthusiastic when they accidentally heard him whispering his curiosity to his Stepmother Violan.

And so, the tea party that young ladies and matriarchs dominated began with them enlightening him more about the topic.

If he were to consider it, it is probable that women of noble birth, particularly those of advanced age, would derive pleasure from the company of a willing listener who values their opinions and musings.

They... rarely have the opportunity to have a say in politics and business outside their household matters unless they were from the upper echelons of noble society.

Noblewomen have held positions of prestige and influence but have often been expected to conform to strict gender roles and societal expectations. As they age, their contributions to society are no longer as highly valued.

At least, that was what Cale had long assumed.

But not his 'Mothers', though. His stepmother and his mom were different. They were the type of Noblewomen who were loud and clear about their goals and voices.

Courtesy to Ron, the man told him that having someone who takes the time to listen to them and appreciate their thoughts and ideas can be tremendously validating and empowering for these women.

It could be said that, aside from his training, Ron taught him many things in other aspects as well. That man was surprisingly good at it, building connections and such.

He also taught him something about how those simple things can help them feel seen and valued as individuals rather than simply as representatives of their social class or gender. Additionally, the conversations that result from such interactions can be rich and enlightening, as these women often have a wealth of knowledge and experience to share.

As expected of former assassins.

No wonder that old servant always observed him with a concealed mirthful stare every time Cale made a fool of himself whenever he tried to communicate with other people outside Henituse's Manor. (Cale scowled to himself at that, silently grumbling about it.)

In the end, those older ladies indeed took great pleasure in his curiosity. They even went to such lengths, explaining things thoroughly for him to understand their small wishes for the clothing in the market to be varied- like they need pockets, how a corset was hurting their back to look proper and pretty, etc.
