Everyone has a demon inside of them, curled inside their little hearts, hidden away from the rest of the world.
But nothing can hide forever.
For hundreds and thousands of years, demons were feared by the mortal world. We were hunted. Tormented and oppressed. We were said to be freaks and monsters, curses and abominations, the nightmare that kept children awake at night, unable to sleep, hiding under the covers.
Hiding from us demons, the nightmare which was told to snatch children away from their very bed.
We were hanged and murdered publicly on 'special' events for the world to see. Crowds and crowds of people gathered together to watch, crowing and cheering, relieved to be ridding the world of one more disaster, one more problem, just another monstrosity.
In this cruel, cruel world, we're divided by blood and bone, skin and eyes and hair.
When will it stop?
But truly, the worst of the monsters look exactly like us and they live among us, watching us every second, till the day we
