Alrighty, now this is a story that my friend and I came up with. So it's written pretty weirdly. If you have any questions, or are confused about something, feel free to ask away. And, yes, I am aware of some spelling/grammatical mistakes.
@Idiosyncratic1 was my partner in writing this. She has the same story on her page...because we couldn't decide who should post it. AND she has the newer, cooler, updated cover.

Fox walked into the basement, slamming the door behind her. Her red stiletto heels matched her hair, and cluncked as she stomped down the old, wooden stairs. In her hands, she held two cups of coffee. A tattered notebook was tucked under her arm. "Codex! We SO need to get out of this dump. I hate it here; it's nasty." She whined as she handed her friend his coffee.
Codex took the coffee and drank a sip before replying "You know this all we can afford now. I know it's a crap-shoot, but we can buy ourselves a proper place once we finish our project. For now we need to get to work on that, and any little odd jobs we can get our hands on." He pointed to Fox's computer, which had a new email. A guy from the black market just told him he would pay $3,000 for them to hack into the Bank of America's mainframe and donate $10,000 to a charity. An easy job. Codex had linked the details to Fox, then suggested that they get to work on it.
Fox rolled her eyes. "Oh. My. Gawd. This is so boring. When are we going to do something exciting, like the Roanoke Scam?" She sat into her office chair, spinning in a few circles before leaning over her desktop and placing her neatly manicured nails on the keyboard. Her fingers flew, and pretty soon all sorts of numbers and letters were floating across the screen.
Codex chuckled. It was extremely boring. He took another sip of his coffee and began to decode the barriers securing the bank. With the help of Fox, they were almost done in fifteen minutes.
"Woah, You don't see these too often!" Codex exclaimed. "A connection vault." he continued. Connection vaults were very rare, it cost a fortune to find someone to install it, and pay them for the service. A connection vault made it so that you can't get to the mainframe unless you were connected to their network. "Well, pack your bag. we're going to the Bank of America." If they hacked into a smaller bank they would not come across this barrier, but the Bank of America was the most successful bank in the nation.
Codex swiveled around in his chair, and grabbed his backpack. He placed a notebook, his Macbook, and some bobby pins into his bag. Never know when they will come in handy. He grabbed his coffee and turned to see if Fox was ready.
Fox had a strange ability to change her clothes at an impossible rate. When she had entered the basement just a few minutes earlier, she was wear jeans, and a very old, loose t-shirt. Her hair had been up in a messy bun.
Now, she was in a black mini skirt, and a very complimenting top with half sleeves. Shrugging on a blazer, and grabbing her purse, she shook out her hair. Fox looked completely different. Except for her red heels. Standing up, she grinned at Codex, a sparkle of mischief in her blue eyes. "Let's get this party started."
Codex grinned. He took a quick look at Fox, which he was used to the changing by now, then he looked at himself. He was wearing black slacks, and a light blue dress shirt rolled up at the sleeves, and a pair of converse. He grabbed a tie and slipped it on real quick. He looked back at Fox and said "Let's go." He grabbed his backpack and slid it onto his back, and headed up the old stairs, holding the door for Fox. When she passed through he said "I'm driving" with a smile.
Fox pretended to pout. "You always get to drive!" She complained, but she couldn't contain a laugh. As they entered the garage, she threw her bags into the backseat and crawled onto the shotgun seat. "This is going to be so fun." She exclaimed, her eyes sparkling in excitement.
