Author POV:

there are a lot of things that Nyx doesn't like. but the main thing is being stared at or, being gossiped about. and when in that type of situation she needs her inhaler. She can't handle these situations without her nurse/bodyguard. but lately, she has been doing better so she decided to give her bodyguard a break and take care of herself. she has been doing well, up until, well now.

♤𝓼𝓾𝓶𝓶𝓪𝓻𝔂/𝓻𝓮𝓬𝓪𝓹♤

Nyx was being interviewed alongside Aidan Gallagher when suddenly, she felt as if someone was watching her. She couldn't shake the feeling. so in the heat of the moment, she ran out of the studio, saying she had to 'use the restroom', therefore no one would worry.

While on the other hand, our dearest Aidan, felt as if something was wrong, after all, Nyx has been gone for a while now. the interviewer Lucas seemed unbothered. but then all of a sudden a 'beep beep' noise had gotten the two males' attention, the noise was coming from none other than Nyx's bag.

They tried ignoring it but Aidan was still trying to shake the feeling something was wrong. and he lost it. he dug into your purse to find your Apple watch notifying your phone that you had blacked out due to the fact that you had left your inhaler. and he made a run for it...

♤𝓫𝓪𝓬𝓴 𝓽𝓸 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓹𝓻𝓮𝓼𝓮𝓷𝓽♤

Aidan POV:

I knew there was something wrong from the start when she wanted to leave the studio. she seemed very comfortable talking to me and Lucas until a silhouette of someone entered the studio. she had become self-aware, her hands were shaky, her voice low and trembling.

that was only the minimum. I tried to signal to her trying to know what was wrong, but she was too consumed in trying not to have a panic attack she didn't notice. So, tried to remain unbothered but it got to me when she ran out of the studio. I was about to go after her but Lucas held me down and asked me more questions. I answered them but Nyx wouldn't leave my mind.

I only met this girl and she had me wrapped around her finger.

I ran after seeing her phone. I know invading her privacy was a serious offense, but I can get out of jail, or pay a fine, but I can't get her life back. I used her Apple watch detector widget on her lock screen to find where she was. I found her passed out by the lady's bathroom.

I don't even know this girl so much yet I had such an attraction toward her, I didn't even know I was strong enough to lift her up, nor did I know how fast my fingers could move to type '911'

within minutes I was in the ambulance with her, I don't know why I felt my eyes get watery, I barely even know her yet I feel as if I can't breathe when she is not near.

the police were questioning me and Lucas, and I tried telling them everything I knew, but no sound came out of my throat. when I saw her on that hospital bed I felt like my heart was being cut out with a butter knife whilst I am aware.

"Why do you think this happened?" Lucas broke the silence

"I don't know." I gave a cold response, not taking my eyes off Nyx

I didn't want to say it like that I really didn't but a part of me was killed watching her on that hospital bed.

"you ok? you seemed pretty stressed on the way here" Lucas said trying to ignore my tone of voice

"yeah I'm fine, maybe we can shoot the video another time you know?" I say trying to change the topic,

"yeah ok, ill be off then, ill check up on you later..." he said picking up his phone.

I'm pretty sure that's what he wanted to hear. I sometimes hate how shameful and selfish people can be.

I'm sure he didn't just want to know when we will be finishing the video, I bet he just wanted to give me some space. but I was mad at myself for not going to see what was wrong sooner.

Author POV:

our Dearest Aidan waited at the rim of our hospital bed. held your hand every time your body started shaking or trembling. he couldn't point out exactly what he was feeling or why he was feeling it but he had the urge to protect you, doesn't matter what, or who he just has the urge to protect you before himself.

2 hours have passed. he was still there. holding your hand. waiting for you to get up.

Nyx POV:

I open my exhausted eyes, only for them to be pierced by very bright lights, causing me to shut them immediately.

after a minute open them again. when try to get up to rub my eyes, I notice Aidan on the right side of my bed, holding my hand, with such care. when seeing this I got a tingling feeling in my stomach and heart. it felt like a fuzzy feeling, a warm feeling, yet I felt as if I have hated this feeling before.

I push my thoughts out of the way and rub my eyes with my left hand. after rubbing my eye, i then realized that I was in a hospital bed.

'what?' was the only question that is on my mind.

"how did I get there?" I mumble under my breath, trying not to wake sleeping, Aidan. Which you miserably fail at doing.

"Your awake!!" Aidan's raspy sleepy voice startles you,
"Ye-yeah,"
"Are you alright??" He says while his eyes inspect all over you not missing an inch
Authors POV:

seconds turned into minutes, and minutes turned into hours,
The gaze of Aidan on your body made your cheeks flush, made your heart rate rise, made you think this is a fantasy you were waiting to live.

Well that was until your brothers burst into the room looking like road kill.
"What happened? What's wrong? who did this ?was it him?" These questions were being blurted out from each and one of your brothers mouths, while the other brothers were questioning, Dominic just went straight to Aidan,

" was it you?" Dominic said grabbing onto Aidan's collar,
"STOP" you screamed to get everyone's attention, you don't know why but when they stated accusing Aidan it made your blood boil.

You had everyone's eyes on you.
And all you could think about was how to get the hell out of here.

It took 45 minutes to explain to your bone headed brothers that it wasn't Aidan, and Aidan explained how he found her.

The Coleman brothers still kind of not convinced glared at Aidan, but said sorry to him due to their love for their sister.

After the brothers left to get you Un hospitalized it was just you two left.
A very loud silence.
"Hey um, nyx ca-can I get yo-your number?" Aidan said quickly breaking the silence.
"Yes." You said exchanging phone numbers,
