Personality:Hayate is an experiment from the U.S as he was being trained to be a top notch assassin and killer, at a young age he was taught every possible way to kill a person and has been honing those skills ever since.
He isn't the only one that was apart of this program as there's a few other people around the same age group as him that has this experience. Other than his background Hayate is quiet but observant, as he only speaks if he has to.
Aqua offered up his sister as compensation for helping him find his father who killed Ai but he declined it since it's not his problem.
