It's 3:00 and I'm finally home from school. I live so close to Bloomcrest that I have to walk. As soon as I hear the key click I walk through the door and slam my backpack to the ground, my homework can wait. I take my phone off silent and check to see if he texted me. Yep. (I knew it.)

My heart leaps. I text Jess for moral support. I haven't texted Jay in weeks. I know it sounds bad but I just can't do it. I decide to go with the classic reply to his blatant statement:
