• Riddhima Sinha •Riddhima always liked to have things planned out before hand. She had figured out quiet early in her life about her career, about her job, about the kind off man she would want to fall in love with and get married to after a year or two of dating. She had it all planned out. But slowly with time she was realising that everything doesn't go your way, some things do and some simply doesn't. She wasn't the one to complain though, she liked challenges, and was never the one to give up. But the unexpected demise of her husband had brought her life to a pause. For the first time in her 28 years of life, she was clueless about everything, only one thing she was sure about was to give her daughter, Ridhvi a happy environment to grow up which her in-law's place could never be. She didn't knew what life would have in store for her anymore but she knew her daughter deserved a happy family, and she was determined to provide her that. So when her mother and in-laws had suggested her to marry Aditya Sinha, their second son she had agreed readily, much to their surprise. They were all aware of the love she and her late husband shared but perhaps they underestimated a mother's love. She knew what it was like to grow up without a father, she didn't wanted her daughter to have the same fate. Marrying Aditya was a safe option for Riddhima for various reasons, she knew him before hand, he stayed in a different city than her in-laws, and she was aware of the growing love between him and her daughter, though her daughter still mistook him as her father. She had decided to turn her daughter's misconception into reality, to make Aditya her father for real.
• Aditya Sinha •
Aditya had always been a free bird. He was never the one to abide by the rules of his regressive family unlike his siblings. While his twin brother, Devaditya had simply taken after the responsibility of handling their family business of trading, he had stood firm on his decision of becoming a pilot. He wanted to be a pilot and that was it, he wasn't the one to settle for anything less than he thought he deserved. However, the consequences of his decision were way beyond his expectations. He hadn't expected his family to disown him, but they did and Aditya took it upon himself to achieve his dream. Though in the process of getting his dream job, he had lost his precious family and a part of himself, he had no regrets. He was happy to finally live his life on his own terms. The sudden death of his brother, Devaditya had taken him aback. Despite their totally different personalities, he loved him and his love for his brother had taken him back to the roads of his hometown. Back at his hometown, his niece, Ridhvi had mistook him as her father and he didn't had it in him to reveal the truth to her so he had played the role of her father for the time he stayed there. When his parents had asked him to marry Riddhima, he was tempted to deny them. Firstly, simply for the pleasure of disobeying them and secondly because he wasn't ready to take over the responsibilities of a family. He couldn't understand how his parents expected him, a 29 year old immature man in their words, to suddenly become a father to a child. It was absurd. Yes, he was fond off Ridhvi. Yes, he didn't had the courage to correct her misunderstanding and pretended to be her father but making her and her mother a permanent part of his life was not possible. It would complicate his simple life. But when the same night, her mother had declined his video call and instead texted that Ridhvi had already slept talking to her father's picture because he didn't called at their usual set time, the decision was made. He had realised that abandoning the little girl wasn't really an option for him. The marriage and fatherhood would change the course of his life. But he was ready to take on every challenge, if it meant Ridhvi would get a happy environment to live in. He was ready to change her misconception into reality, to be her father for real.
