Ch 2

With Kid he was still running through the dying jungle, seeing so many plants and trees dead because of the fumes. Not long after, he finds his way barred by a large body of water. Surprising the newly transformed maximal as he stared at it on all fours.

"Do I have to swim to get through here?" Kid asked as he looked left and right, "There's no bridge, and I don't have a ship either. Man, what a stale place this is."

Just as he finished his saying a large frog pops his head out of the water a bit and stared, he recognized who was standing on dry ground right in front of him.

"Yo, so you're a Tasmanian devil? You sure scanned a geeky looking thing."

Kid looked down to see the head of a big frog looking at him and was quite confused to why it talked to him, "What's with this giant frog? I don't have any amphibian relatives."

Suddenly startling Kid the frog opens its mouth and out came the helm, of course, Diver, "It's me! It's me! Diver!"

"You're the one to talk! I really don't like what you scanned..." Tasmanian Kid told him about his thought before he turned back to him with his servoes up lightly.

"But never mind that. Gimme a ride on your back." Kid told him. Diver pushed himself up a bit that his frog body was out but his legs were in the water still.

"Better not complain like that if ya want a ride." Diver warned his friend.

But with that settled Kid was on Diver's back and they slowly made their way towards the other side. However after some time Kid decided to speak.

"Not that it really matters...but can't you go a bit faster?" Kid told him as this wasn't the speed he wanted.

"Keep talking like that, and I'll dump ya on purpose." Diver told him being serious that he would do it as he wasn't in no mood to be ordered around right now.

"But just don't give me breaststrokes. Can't you at least do the crawl?" Kid told him the way he can swim.

However and sudden as Diver is swimming along, a pair of squid tentacles suddenly burst out of the water startling them both and they began to panic at the sudden attack. 

"It's some extra large squid tentacles!" Kid said in a slight panic voice as those same tentacles burt more out of the water and made them both rise on the squid's body. Which made Diver panic the most.

"God, save us!" Diver yelled out covering his optics, "I'll never eat octopus dumplings or grilled squid ever again!" 

"What in the world are octopus dumplings or grilled squid anyways?" Kid asked frowning at what his amphibian friend had blurted out while Diver removed his hand from his eyes.

"I don't know! I just blurted it out!" He yelled at him for his saying. 

After the experience they had, the shaking stopped as they noticed the squid did not attack them really and they looked seeing the squid's front part going up, revealing none other than Scuba but it's only having a bit of fun with the two.

"No need to panic, it's me, tentacles." Scuba said revealing him to his comrades. 

"What, is that you, Scuba?" Diver asked quite surprised.

"You're strange also for changing yourself into some seafood." Kid grinned as he thought of a pun, "You know being a squid, is a squid-tastic look."

A moment of silence filled where they were till Scuba started to sink in the water where the bubble noise broke it.

"AHH! We're sinking!" Kid said in slight panic again. But Scuba didn't let them as he woke from his state and popped up in the water again.
