The day had started off normally. Harry and Draco had sat on opposite sides of the great hall at breakfast, as usual. But as the day progressed, they found themselves drawn to each other, always ending up in the same classes and corridors.

Draco had finally muttered the up the courage to approach Harry in the library, where they were both studying. He tentatively asked if he could join Harry at his table, and to his surprise, Harry had agreed.

That was how they ended up sitting together, deep in conversation. They talked about everything and nothing, the silence comfortable between them.

Suddenly, Harry had a flash of insight. He realized that he had been ignoring his feelings for Draco for too long. He turned his head to look at the Slytherin sitting next to him and felt his chest tighten.
