Surprise!

"Where are we going?" October asks intrigued to know the answer to the question. It was the millionth question she had asked since Salem picked her up from her apartment in Seattle. That was one of October's traits. She talked a lot. "You will see." Salem replied, giving her a smirk. Salem was one of the few people who had patience with October. Normally, people would get annoyed with how talkative she was, but not Salem. They had been friends since Salem moved to L.A. October was there for a trip, and they happened to bump into each other. They were both glad it happened.

Salem took a turn down a street labeled "raccoon drive." She drove past a few houses until pulling into one of the driveways. She turned the music up so it was blaring. She honked and rolled down the window. "Hey loser, let's go!" She yelled out the window. They waited a few minutes in the driveway before Onyx emerged from the door with a few bags. That's the only thing Salem told them, "Pack enough clothes for a week." She popped the trunk, and Onyx threw their bags in closing it and hopping into the passenger side.

"OK, now we only need to get Stella, then we are on our way!" Salem yelled over the radio. Everyone smiled, and then Salem started driving again.

After about an hour of driving, they finally arrived and picked up Stella. Salem smirked and popped open the glove box of her car and grabbed 4 pairs of colorful sunglasses. She passed everyone a pair with their favorite color, She had Orange, Onyx had Green, Stella had Purple, and October had Yellow. They all put them on smiling as the song switched to a song they all knew by heart.
(Salem did this on purpose, of course,) they belted out the lyrics really loud until their vocal chords hurt. "CAN'T YOU SEE THAT I'M THE ONE WHO UMDERSTANDS YOU, BEEN HERE ALL ALONG SO WHY CAN'T YOU SEE? YOU BELONG WITH ME, YOU BELONG WITH ME." They laughed and had a great time. (I'm in a bit of a Taylor phase right now)

Onyx was hanging out the window, October had her whole arm resting against the outside of the door, letting the breeze hit it, Stella had her head in October's lap and her legs out the window. Salem looked in the rear view mirror and saw them and looked at Onyx, who was already looking at her. They both smirked at each other. They have always shipped October and Stella. They watched them in awe as they realized they had fallen asleep.

They drove from about 4 more hours until Salem slowed the car down, turning onto a sketchy dirt road. She slowly pulled into a driveway and looked at Onyx smirking. Onyx had the biggest smile on their face. Salem smiled at the reaction she got out of them.

Salem got out of the car, closed the door, and slowly opened October's door. She gently shook her awake. October yawned at looked up at Salem. "Are we here?" She asked, stretching. Salem just nodded, smiling. "Why do you seem so happy?.." October asked tiredly but with a hint of confusion on her face. Salem just smiled bigger and looked down at October's lap, gesturing for her to look. October looked down and saw a sleeping Stella and got flustered. "I-i, how long has she been there?" She asked Salem, covering her red face with her hands. Salem just shrugged and said "basically since we picked her up," she giggled and walked off to find Onyx.

To nobody's shock, Onyx was already inside looking around in awe. Onyx had always been fascinated by the paranormal. Salem leaned against the door frame and smiled, "Don't enjoy yourself too much, we haven't even gotten to the best part yet." She spoke, startling Onyx. Salem giggled.

Salem walked back to the far and popped the trunk. She walked over and grabbed a black backpack that was pretty heavy. She threw one of the straps over her back and sprinted back to the house. "What's that?" Stella asked, pointing to the backpack on Salem's back. "Oh, you know, just some equipment." She said, shrugging.

Just then, they heard a huge crash from upstairs startling them all.

A/N: Who could it be? Could it be a ghost? Maybe a demon? Who knows with the conjuring house. Will they investigate? They did go to explore. Let me know what you think. This is my first time writing, so please leave some suggestions!
