Story ending, One

"Choose your last words wisely," the Villain said and laughed. The hero lifted their head and said "I love you". The Villain stood there in shock "W..what?" The Villain stuttered over his words. "I said I love you dumbass" the hero repeated, laughing a little at his confusion. "Shut up before I let you go and you explode with everyone else in this damn cave." The villain warned, pushing them closer towards the edge. They smile at him, with no feeling of fear or regret shown in their eyes. "If you think you are saying that will make me save you-" The villain started but the hero interrupted "I would do no such thing.". The villain starts to cry, from happiness, from sadness? He wasn't really sure, he looked down now scared to even meet the hero's eyes. The hero reaches out slowly and lifts his head up with their hand making him look at them. The time ticks and says "Thirty seconds remaining". The hand by the villain's side loses and his weapon drops to the ground his hand that's gripped on the heroes shirt tightens and swiftly pulls them in now each other's noses almost touching. "Say you're lying right now!" The villain screams in their face, seeming displeased with their words. "I'm a person of truth, I would never commit such treason..." The clock chimed "15 seconds remaining". Both looked at each other with longing, something the villain had yet to feel in a while, years in fact, the hero understood what he was thinking they always did. That's how they always won but it's also the reason they knew they were in love with him. "I know you wanna kiss me stupid." they said, breaking the silence, smirking as the villain's face lit up. "Shut up" He leaned in for the kiss, the clock ticked "Three" this was a happy ending all he ever wanted, his happy ending though he knew being a villain would never get him there, "Two" being a hero means protecting my people but it also means knowing how to see inside of others and myself "One" the lips of the enemies were brought together now leading into a passionate kiss that was filled with need, need to finish what they started. The hands of the hero wrapping around their partner's neck, draped over his shoulders and the villain's hands coming around the hero's waist pulling them in further "Detonating bomb" Falling in love with you was the best thing I have ever done they both thought. The hero pushed their body's off the ledge causing them to fall into the cave. The kiss got deeper as they fell, not wanting to waste any time, if this was the last thing either of them would ever do they were happy. "I love you" The hero said breaking off the kiss "I love you too" the villain responded as they finally fell into the explosion pulling each other back into the kiss holding each other tighter and tighter till finally the pressure caught up to them and they went flying up. 'I promise I'll find you again no matter the cost when this is all over I will find you again.' This being the last thing the two lovers ever thought before going onto another life.
